yeah, finally a real episode. Shame it'll be 2025 by the time there's more. My housemate Abby reckons moriarty was created by sherlock or microft so that he could stay in the country. He's obviously still dead. Took a fucking headshot.

Yeh, consensus in the Stercogburn household is that its a computer programme created either by Moriarty or whoever, or just a hack by some new big bad setup for next series. Moriarty is dead.

Actually, the guy that plays Moriarty was superb in ep 3. He did deranged very well.

There was also an interesting throw-away line from Mycroft; there's another Holmes brother.

Also the implication that Mycroft had him killed.
It seemed to infer more that he did nothing to save him.

Unless the scenes with him and sherlock on the roof were bullshit, which would untie that knot and could be highly likely given the whole "we've avoided telling you what happened" arc that was running through this series.

Urrghhh but that would be SO lame. Extremely lazy writing.

Unless they tied it to this last episode, i.e. that Moriarty got to all the jurors with information obtained from the mind palace of the latest villain.

Yeh I want Moriarty to stay dead.

I am not up on the original Conan-Doyle books, but Moffat and Gatiss do stick to the main facts. Now when Doyle killed off Holmes in the original Reichenbach Falls story, did Moriarty actually die too?

There was uproar at the time and Doyle was forced to bring Holmes back from the dead, but did he bring back Moriarty too, if not then Moffat should stick to that

He is such a good character (and actor) though. Seems a shame for him to have been kkilled off so quickly

yeah, the character was amazing. one of the best on television imo. They'll have alot of him I reckon, via the computer shit that's going on. Just cos hes dead doesnt mean he's not in the show being naughty :D

Good god, am I the only one who thinks Andrew Scott was terrible as Moriarty? I, for one, hope he stays dead just so I don't have to hear that accent again. That and I was actually more terrified of Sherlock than I was of Moriarty.

I suppose BBC Drama and Low Standards go hand-in-hand :)

Not alone but maybe in a minority. I also didn't like him, particularly that slow drawl of an accent which i just found annoying.

Nope.

But to keep it friendly I'll put a smiley at the end too.

:)

I was probably goading you a little there :), but BBC drama is some of the worst shite made for TV. Off the top of my head, I think State of Play and The Hours (next to Sherlock) has been the only high calibre drama created by the BBC.

Thanks for the smiley :).... it prevented me from being super evil and giving you some of this: :upyours:

Hehe oh yeh, they do make some dross but I think ITV tends to win in the turkey stakes.

Admittedly very little I watch on TV. I find out about stuff mostly by internet scuttlebutt so I'm already aware in advance if something has a chance of being decent and avoid a lot of the rubbish.
