Yeah, I've tested 0.8 myself, but it does have the nasty tendancy to slip (it was due out pre-Christmas, then first week of the new year ...). Still, as you say SheepCow, the branch has been cut (lots of tree metaphors ) and with any luck it'll be here soon. I guess it's best it's nice and stable rather than rushed and buggy.
I think that's the bug reporting mechanism which has kept the Netscape name. With the collapse of Netscape (Boo Hiss AOL) this may/may not get renamed, depending on whether it is actually in development as part of the Mozilla project or not.
It's an optional part of the installation - was named "Bugzilla" last time I installed, or possible "Netscape Quality Feedback Agent". I've been using Firebird for ages now so I don't know I'm afraid
