Mozilla 1.2.1 - Faster?

I've been using Mozilla 1.1 for a while now, but I installed 1.2.1 earlier and seems a lot quicker?
The slightly sluggish loading was almost making me change back to IE but either my network connection has suddenly bolted up a bit tonight or this update is better?

Can anyone confirm this? Or am I seeing things?

These things tend to be very hard to confirm, but I must admit I have Mozilla 1.2.1 installed for testing purposes and the initial load time does seem to have been noticably reduced. Version 1.2.1 is designed to be the flagship build for all Mozilla users now, so it may well be that the code has been optimised following the extensive alpha and beta testing prior to its released.

Let's see what 1.3 alpha can come up with

mozilla 1.2 beta got uninstalled within 5 minutes, went back to 1.1 but 1.2.1 seems a vaaaaast improvement. long live moz!
