Moving with my Girlfriend at the end of the month to a new town as I got a new job.

Scary how fast we grow up eh.. I remember being 16/17 when I started playing Daoc..now I am 22 and dont really have time for games any more and it just kind of feels "wrong" when I sit down to play a game like daoc as I could be doing so many other things.

When I played Camelot ages ago I wondered how people filled their time who didn't play MMO's cos I had so fucking much of it. These days I barley have time to sit a computer unless I am at work as I am now.

Once I have lived in this town for 1.5 years I am off again (possibly with the bird) to University as a mature student lol, so I will be thrust back into the "having lots of time" life again and no doubt I will again wonder how people fill their days.

Dunno what the point of the post is really, just some advice to younger people that may be trolling the forums..trust me on this one and I ignored it when I was 16..life zooms by and before you know it your moving in with your long term girlfriend whilst holding down a steady job!

as a student the days are usually filled with a mix of the following -

smoking pot
drinking
doing some out door activity
doing uni work (essays etc)
computer gaming

some days you can do all of them, others only one. though it never feels like your doing too much of any one of them.

I've done my days of pot smoking and drug taking..it doesn't interest me any more..

Yeah I like to mountin bike so I will spend time doing that I suppose..computer gaming is a must! and I wouldn't drink that much..again I have got it out of my system from 5 years previously..(I was away from the forums for about a year, in that time I did every drug you could list and got fucked most nights) so as you can imagine, most people at uni get it out of their systems..I have already done it ;)

´Grown up...baha :D

Try 27, though i still like to play games...not smoke pot though...but certainly not the marrying type.

I guess you're the "usual" type of people who settle down younger.

Cheers for the advice Gamah, infact, make this thread sticky! So when we all get to that grown up point that Gamah has reached, we can refer back to this wonderful life experienced enriched thread.

Do i hear a tiny amount of sarcasm in your voice? :D

By the by, didn't mean any offence with my post, good luck with it and here's hoping :drink: that you don't do a "splitting up ffs" thread in two months.

I only give out two bits of advice

1) Don't think of yourself as an ugly person, just a beautiful monkey.

2) Drink beer.

Does this mean you have to stop acting like a silly little teenager on the forum? :(

Best of luck moving in with your Mrs Gamah and in the new town.

Reminds me of happy days 10 years ago when I moved in with my Ex-wife, but my doctor has told me I should no longer think about her and my spitful feelings will disappear about the car stealing, house emptying, lying, dog stealing, life wrecking fucking slag.......:eek6:

Maybe I should go back and see him :)

Hope everything turns out nice for you Gamah :)

This means that this is the only place left he CAN act like that, so expect double the "pleasure".

Much like after Vlad's trip to the swedish peepee clinic.

Had to.

I'll stop acting like a teenager when you stop acting like a pompous twat.

pompous twat...is that like the female Russian weigth lifter, in the last Olympics, who was about to carry out her next lift when the Commentator said " and she is about to walk out on stage with a 150lb snatch"

or are Snatch and Twat used in a different context this time.

Good luck Gams, I hope it all works out for you.

Its funny what your saying about DAoC and RL now, I was 22 when I started playing and whenever I catch up with me old guildies on msn its like "how old are you now...whoa remember when you were 19 and i was 22 and we got lost on salisbury plains" lol.

It really does go quick, anyway just treat every day like its a sleepover, don't go getting too serious about the whole moving in thing and itll be fine (I lived with my 2 x's, though neither was by choice lol 1st was because he had nowehere to live so moved in with me and 2nd was because i had nowhere to live, No.3 was a choice and worked out great, wasn't rushed and we get along great it really is like having a sleep over its just fun)

:drink: to getting older but not growing up.
