Movin in enemy frontiers: Beginner's Guide

All you need is:

-) go to http://www.io.com/~caladin/kirstena/ and print the maps you need

InGame:

-) SHIFT+C = Compass

-) /loc = your current location

returns for example:

Jamdtland Mountains: 10233, 10000, 333

X, Y, Z

X = from left to right
Y = from top to bottom
Z = height (which is not important)

All realm frontiers have a similar layout.

Relics are postioned in a similar manner between realms in relation to pks, Power not near pks etc Str near Pks ... if you follow since its been a while since anyone had to visit lam hofta


Keeps arnt very hard to miss, they stick out a bit on the horizons and are lined up nicely.

Examples:

If you had to describe aileene from crimm?
2nd in down the left line

If you had to describe Hdisklafi whadayacallit from odins?
2nd in past giant on right line

/locs arnt really needed to explore just a bit of sense, if you know your way around Hib keeps, its the same in enemy frontiers just going the opposite way (hmg to dl)

All thats missing with this methods is names of keeps... but 2 days in either of the frontiers you learn quickly which is which and if you dont know what one it is? you know what it isnt at least


Just my 2 secs of limelight for anyone thats lost out there anytime without maps or someone to /stick to....

another good tip: spend time in the frontiers and get to know them, if you know the lay of the land you may have won the next batle ^^

hehe it's a laugh isnt it, one thing most rvr'ers dont bothere with, even after cappign resists, stats, skills, getting RR5 etc... is learning the actual frontier's, they just dont seem to understand that the level 10 elf over there is gonna own them silly purely because he knows how to pull them into that pack of bloodletters just over the next hill

why people dont spend more time running around inside the frontier's i dont know, especially with the currently blind guard patrols, i had three realm guards (enemy one's i may add ) run over my lvl 41 eld today, i of course, have no stealth, as things are now i just ignore them, and get the same courtesy in return

ANYONE, from hibby, no matter how new would also know that you have to wait for the group members to first get serviced by one of the lvl 50 buffbots at ligen before leaving with your druid+warden+bard aswell damnit

just can't believe you didnt know simple tricks like that one
