Movie compression formats

Anyone know about these ?

I want to put some movies on my PDA and need a good compression format.

Whats the best ? MP4 ? DivX ? Haven't iPOD released a new format which compresses less than MP4 ?

Use TCPMP and it plays divx, then just drop the bitrate a bit and lower the fps to lower the filesize so your PDA can handle it. Works fine for me.
