Mounting photo's

Okay, I have a fair few black and white prints I processed myself, and I am planning to get 8*10 prints of lots of other holiday photos. I want to put them on my wall, but I want to preserve the colours as much as possible. Obviously sunlight and dirt need to stay away. So can anyone recommend anything I can cover them with to protect from dirt and UV, and what should I mount them on?

Well clip frames seem the most obvious answer, do you have anything against these? Glass is a good UV filter, and ought to protect the prints pretty well.

The other thing is to get good quality prints. Home printer ink is getting longer lasting now, but probably not as good as photographic prints. I use Photobox for my online printing and they guarantee their prints for 150 years against fading, (who'll be around to pay out then though is anyones guess).

I have been impressed with the quality of the prints as well as the helpfulness of the staff.

Nope wanted something proper to mount them on, not standard clip frames.

Ch3ts your best bet is a local framing shop, theres one just near me that I use regularly, but it ain't cheap, normally costs me £100 or so for A0 size or thereabouts.
