I love gadgets, so when I saw these things, it took me about 2 seconds before I had a Will Smith "I Gotta get me one of these!" moment :D

Thought I'd post em up here seeing as I know there are a few bikers about (even if I've already told throd about them, and he said they're a bit gay :().

The thing that sets these gloves apart from just about any other glove available is the 'Exoskeleton' bit you can see on the fingers. They flex when you close your hand to grip, and when you open your hand, they retract again, it all looks pretty snazzy :) but the thing about them is they're supposed to help prevent your fingers being forced back too far (hyperextension or whatever).

Fairly new out, might be worth a look (even if they're "a bit gay" :p).

Not sure why they're smoking, maybe they work as oven-gloves too?!

They'd be nice for dirt squirt work.
They're not smoking, more steaming because they've just finished massaging a cock in the chill of an English morn.

More importantly Pikey, how many gazillions of pounds are they?

I do like Knox stuff though.

Picked mine up for £160 in Poole.

I'd never normally imagine spending as much as that on gloves, but I thought these ones were something special :)

I'm slowly getting my gear to be of a higher standard, maybe new lid next, but I do really like my current marushin one, even if it was cheap as chips.

Do they sell helmets with tinsel on to match your new gloves, or maybe pictures of earrings on the side. Ooooohhh I know, you could get a new helmet and draw hair highlights on it and write 'chase me' on the back.

Haha :D

Honestly though - Been looking at the lids with Bluetooth enabled so you can get music & phone calls through them.

Not like I'll be yapping away every time I'm on it or anything, but just handy for when I'm on long journeys on motorways etc.

Another thing I've been looking at are the built-in shades, they look a bit chippy in a way, but they'd be real handy for when the sun's low - its a bit of a bugger when you're going down the motorway with the sun sitting on the horizon in the direction you're travelling in (m3 is a killer), and there's no easy way of dealing with it :)

I bought a progressive visor, you know, dark at the top then gets lighter towards the bottom. Its awesome and does the job perfectly, 45 fucking quids though, for a visor, madness

Bluetooth is actually a good idea for bikers, I was out the other day and missed 4 calls, I could hear my phone but would never answer in time.

you can get lids with a built in sunvisor. Ive got a Caberg Justissimo GT (flip lid) and the visor is an excellent attachment. However - have also seen this in full face helmets too.

Gloves and boots are things I won't skimp on again. I thought my last pair of gloves were good enough, but they didn't have enough hard armour.
My boots too I thought were good enough, but they were not full length, and one of them ended up coming off my foot in an accident!

Oddly enough I've been thinking about getting into motocross at some point, to go greenlaning.

I can't afford it right now though, just as I can't really afford to start beekeeping, which is also something I want to do.

Motocross and Greenlaneing are completely different things mate :D

Seriously £160 quid?

Mine work great they cost me £28 in the bargain bin at my local bike shop.

I also got a nice pair of boots that keep my feet warm and dry, they cost £35 and I dont look like I shit myself when I walk.

Yea, don't get me wrong, before I got these I had a set of thick winter gloves that cost me around £15. I only very rarely get top of the range stuff like this, normally I'll get things that are good enough without being over the top :)

That said, these gloves really are nice in all the right places. The material used for the inside of the fingers and the palm is grippy enough that I can take stuff out of my wallet and stuff without taking them off, so it saves me *ages* in petrol stations, and when I've got to show my ID at the guardroom on the way into camp :)

Wore them on the 4 hour journey back home yesterday, was just excellent :)

The thing is, the mid-range stuff works, but getting things like this every now and again is kinda good too :)
