I 've never seen any motion sensors in action (I've only been playing a few days) and I was wondering exactly what they do. If I was running past one with a cloak pack active would I suddenly become visible to turrets? Visible to people? What's their range?

Cheers

The cloak pack jams turrets even when switched off switching it on just make you invisible.

The motion sensor tracks movement and are not effected by the cloak pack, so if you run past one the turrets will see you, if you stand still motion sensors can’t see you.

I not sure about the range of the sensors but id guess it’s the same as the turrets.

Motion sensors wont make a cloaked player visible but the laser shots from turrets will give your position away.

The sensor jammer pack jams all sensors/turrets including motion but only when switched on.

Ah, ok, cheers. The bots never seem to bother deploying them and I've never survived long enough online to get near one to find out :D

Thanks

The jammer pack also disables anyones cloakpack that`s nearby. If you suspect a cloaker is in your base, grab a jammer and turn it on, he`ll magically appear infront of you and be very surprised, not to mention disappointed.

Sugar---The jammer pack is very handy to destroy (deployable) turrets, they wont spot you.

Yeah, I tried the Jammer last night and it's pretty damn cool. Unfortunately, I only managed to get one turret before a bunch of Jugs came to see what all the noise was :(

lol - I tried taking a cloaked mate along with me to backstab anyone spotting me. He was creeping past a bunch of guys when (being the unthinking dope that I am) I switched on my Jammer pack :D Poor guy never had a chance.

Jammer packs are a godsend on the Recalscensnesneces? map, bridge tower turret/generator destruction is a doddle and you can usually make it loads easier to get into the base.

Obviously they work best if def distracted by decoy attack while you stroll in...
