Most Hated/Loved classes in Thidranki?

All of you must have classes you love fighting, and classes you just hate....

Most hated
From Alb: Sorcs and cabbies with DoT..... messes up my speed
From Hib: Chanters..... damn pets and their damn speed decrease, champions come a good second. Interupt whores they sure are.

Most Loved:
From Alb: Any tank class..... can never catch me, easy kiting
From hib: Rangers..... these guys just never spec stealth high, so I can see them from miles off. They also have shitty hps.


Somewhere in the middle of love and hate are Bards and Minstrels
They get ganked if I see them solo, buf if they are with a group, mez/stun is a bitch.

Nightshades are gimps, and they are an endagered species
Infils just get mezzed the minute they PA me. Then I run off if I'm solo.

I would say, most hated:
mid: shamans .. their DoT cripples everyone for 5 minutes even if no one really dies from it
hib: bards

Most loved:
mid: any caster or kobold hunters
hib: any caster or luri ranger

sssshhh, wont mention the fact that Abbi was the only infil to ever kill me solo An always the damn poison..... finally got myself a jwlry piece so I have another 14 hps.... should survive that last tick now

On excal with my inf troll skalds are quite easy to kill, PA nearly takes them down and one or two gatoes finishes them, most of them cant mezz int hat time becuase they dont know what hit them.

Skalds mezz is actually resisted quite a bit tho, atleast from what I've noted in 'the big RvR'. You have mezzed me successfully once when I attacked you (and I then got beaten by every mid in Thid) hence the reason why I kept stabbing you ... I just had to get you down before I capped out

I've played a 24 skald on Excal BG, and I loved the class. Speed, nice instas and that snare is darn useful! Going to roll one for PvP aswell Assasins might be fun now that I can give them 100% quality swords and nice purple armour from DF .. but with 'normal' equipment they wouldn't be so fun.

I remember 1 time on hib side, once by AB mid side, on once between apk-AB

Only managed to kill me by mid side of AB I believe..... might have been others, but that was never "solo"

I hate sb's with my champ
as I got one shot killed by a shadowblade while standing must have been a lucky crit but still wtf am I supposed to do about that im a tank class i shouldnt get 1hk while standing.

I hate inf's with my ns
as they always have better stealth than me one day ill get that +3 stealth helm from sprag den


I love all chain wearers with my champ
as pierce gets a + and they underestimate my lil' luri arse

I love soft squishy things like mages with my ns
because they cant pa me and they die quickly

hated- albs who ask me for a rez if theres 16 mids in the way then they send me tells saying i'm a crap cleric and that if i ever find out who my main is they will never group with me again

Hmm.... having played both a shaman and runie in bg, I have to say.... SCOUTS.

Well, havent played the shaman much, but my runie didnt have to fear anything apart from scouts. Infils cant kill you in hit, and then you just qc root and nuke them silly Minstrels and Champs are a bit nasty too, due to their bloody instas.

Damn cowards to use ranged attacks

Love any class that sees me at a distance doesnt run and gives my minstrel a good fight 1v1. Only ever lost to a yellow tank once (I only have 570 hitpoints when buffed as a minstrel and sword don't hit for much) Never taken on a yellow tank since solo - I learned my lesson Apart from that cant remember being beaten 1v1. I am sure somebody has and will be keen to remind me of it!

I hate stealthers who go around in pairs and are too scared to fight 1v1. I know my stun after you PA me breaks your chain of 3 attacks but don't you ever want to stay and see if you can beat me instead of running for help? I guess cos I have poor stealth and sword/shield at the ready you think I'm a Scout then you get stunned after PA realise your mistake and run? If you can't stand the heat...hehe

PS no-one mentions they hate Friars cos only most people don't recognise them as Friars and think they're an easy caster. They are simply too ashamed after being owned in melee 1v1 by a robed staff carrying lunatic to admit it

well, notice mostly assasins, and they really love us!
hope they dont get up fight who first stab us.

for me is same, can fight against any other 1v1 but bf made assasin is too powerfull, hope see these 40+, because this char go that long and swettie road up.

nearsight is pain in behind hope same situation is whit other realms ranged attacker.
love from my sight goes to all alb/hibs who stay tight together and take all what comes, ae and ae.
need just remember if they are ae mezzed by healer, keep finger away from ae button.

Hate: The monk I had down to zero life thru meleeing last night who suddenly had 80 percent life again

All who camp PKs, it's not big or clever, just boring, had this alot last time I was in Thid with Albs camping both Hib and Mid PKs, you try and tell em to move away, let Hibs/Mids come down for a fight, but no, dumbass Albs have to stand there like so many scarecrows doing nothing and making what could be a good tussle into a boring stand-off, same goes for any Hibs/Mids who do this too.
LOVE:
Anyone who plays with even some intelligence, oh and most Stealth classes, hehe it's so easy to lure them into a trap, as they think that their stealth means you can't see them ever. Oh and them lil 'Keens, lil cuties and finally female chars (specially Norse females), nice wiggles

Most Hated : to be honest really is spiritmasters.. Pbaoe mezz plus pets and darkness spec DD's very sore. light spec chanters too

Most Loved : killing mids and 1 shot'ing cheeky runies and spiritmasters. skalds , warriors and thanes are np 1 PA should do the job just fine.

Loves:
People who hunt in pairs, mezz one, waste the other, then worry about the mezzed. Alright the second person is 50/50, but moving at skald speed and causing panic on the initial attack is hilarious. Only managed a pair of yellows once, but have always managed to take out my initial target.

Hates:
PK campers, last week went to play out in thid with a couple of guildies, got invited to CG, accepted and asked where the action was, one person said APK, another HPK. "Let me get this right you've got both PK's camped?" I asked. "Yes" was the response.
Needless to say both albs and hibs gathered forces Zerged at near enough the same time and about 15 mids had to /release.

I was up near the ruins at this point with a my guildie Zerker and Shamen, where we managed to have a nice little scrap with a pair of paladins and a wizzie. Good Show Gents! /salute

And tanks do yourselves a favour, by all means chase the yellow bellies back to thier PK, but once you've done that leave the dumb ranged attackers at the PK to camp. Much more fun to be had elsewhere after that, unless your into your weopon hitting the soil rather than flesh.
