Most efficient class to..

Hello,
so I wanna enjoy myself with some exploreing of all the realms (probaly on camlann but not 100% sure, but will be PVE only) and will be solo 99% of my time, was wondering what class is the best at dropping yellow and blues without too much dt (necro not included, dont wanna be forced to undeads). Tried a firewiz, bit too much pow dt for my taste, even with mcl 2, same goes for dark sm and a friar just seemed to weak until the 40s, maybe i specced it wrong though...

Dont know about BA BDs, pow dt will be long on those too i guess? Or maybe a animist or ice-theurgist (pretty much fancy pet classes, love my sorc so much in pve)
Im not much a rvr type and spend most of the time pve only rvr'ing to get some RAs.

What classes do you enjoy alot in pve WITHOUT a buffbot? Being able to do red if wanted and still farm yellows without dt seem to be my dream class
(paladin, sorc and rm are already taken, hehe!)

A paladin of course, they can chain yellows all day long and take on a RED with good items, however as youve already said thats taken.

Based on your urge to explore the realm, id say go with a Minstrel, the speed song will help loads in getting around, you have an ok weapon skill, and could potentialy chain yellows/oranges with the use of a pet providign the resists arnt too high - the minstrel will have a great selection of tools so you shouldnt get too bored.

I would advise against Camlan as you dont want to do RvR, just PvE - youll be ganked so often on Camlan as its the player vs player server

well first thought when i was reading was necro , but u dont' want that.
Fair enough .. then i went friar ... but u said he were not too sure of him

for me my friar is amazing. Wellf rom the other 2 options u mention i'd go witha Animist. They lvl nice and easy , but they do have a unsualy Play style.
Once u get the hang of em u should be fine though =)

Friars seem very nice yes, but i found mine having problems with oranges at lvl 32 but i aparrently specced too little staff(22).. Anmist has always seemed very interresting because i fancy the idea of having a pet and the option to make another or more if needed, though i got a feeling i will be facing mass POW dt even using perm.pet+nukes

id go for a chanter or summit u get a bit of speed, sum good dmg, pet 2 handle unwanted agro, and u can b a luri. alternativly sum sorta speed char, skald or bard r cool etc etc

No point in soloing reds when you can do oj's/ yellows quicker, as the XP cap stops at oranges for soloing.

think he might want 2 do reds for when he is exploring? though i could b wrong (probably am) but it is nice 2 know u can take high mobs or atleast flee safely when agrod by high con mob (which is why speed + pet is cool, or CC class with speed

id def suggest minstrel, has pet as you asked, as said above...speed will help you explore realms as well.

can solo well with pet, and they are lots of fun. you wudnt have to waste points in stealth if your just intrested in PvE.

Yea but if im not gonna play camlann, a hib class has to be prefered as i never even been in hib be4
Choose a animist and love him alot, dinged 23 now and moving to si to xp when i ding 24 in "Spraggon den" dungeon, my new guild takes me around so i dont get lost too much.. hehe. Not xping on reds (pretty much yellow and orange only) but some quests and such forces me to do reds (lvl 24 TOA cloak quest)
