One thing I've noted with my chanter is that it's about knowing when to charge and PBAE, knowing who to risk charging and PBAE, generally if they're low RR and pretty unskilled you can get away with breaking the mezz and get about 4/5 PBAEs off before they know what to do, if it's a more skilled group however, you can't risk it at all as you'll get slammed the second you pop mezz after the first PBAE so in that case you're better off heat debuffing, stunning and nuking to hell unless it's a class with determ in which case it's not really worth stunning at all

Any pure tank, but thats not a comment on DAoC, rather that I have always preferred to play casters in any game.

Its just a shame that the pointy hats in DAoC just look so frickin' ridiculous and have "KILL ME FIRST" written on them in neon letters

played a rr5 chanter for 1 hour got bored but i'd say Bonedancer, lifetap, root, baseline nuke and maybe debuff depending on spec 3(4) buttons4tehwin!.

That's rather a clever choice then, when you are expecting visitors, long calls, just log in with earth theu and still getting xp.
