I get a debug error on a few programs with Xp Pro. It started doing it just when I closed down Grabit but now it seems to have spread over a few problems. The error I get is - The instruction at "0x00409bf1" referenced memory at "0x640e4c56". The memory could not be "read" .

Then it asks me to either click ok to debug or cancel. It is now doing it when I want to start Mozilla yet before it has been fine. It also started doing it when I try to print in Photoshop.

Please help me before I become murderous towards Bill Gates.

Is it always the same memory locations? If so I would perhaps suspect some sort of .exe infection, or one of those yukky tools that forces a DLL to load with every app that runs.

If you have a 'debug' button then your system thinks you have an IDE installed that can debug code - go to it :)
