Is it just me or does the math seem wrong in that?

Last year, 540 people died and 1,960 were seriously injured in drink-drive crashes, which equates to around seven deaths and serious injuries a day.

A mate got one of those breath test from gadgetshop and tried it the morning after a lash up and he was still well over it scary to think you feel fine but you are still over the limit. Easy way to lose your licence.

I can believe those figures. there's a lot of incidents go on, and there's a pretty big area they could have taken place in. And if it's a big incident, like on a motorway, the number of casualties is going to be higher than just a car hitting a lamp post or something.
