Unlike 2.44 this is not an optional component of the install. If you install 2.5, you install spyware.

Hmm... I might be wrong about this. At one point it says it will be installed, later it gives you the option to remove 3rd party components.

I just don't know anymore.

Seems okay. Updated my Ad-Aware reference files and performed a full scan after installing BearShare 2.50 and nothing was found.
