More dexterity

Ok. Here comes the question I have been thinking about quite some time.

What comes to caster classes, you all say how important dexterity is and how important is to have that +25 dex cap. To my knowledge (not talking about bolts) dex only affects casting speed. After 250 dex, every 20 dex equals 1% more casting speed. So this 25 dex cap incease actually means 1.25% faster casting and augmented dexterity 3 equals 1.1% faster casting.
To me putting 10 ra points for 1.1% faster casting seems a bit expensive.

Is there more to this dexterity than the casting speed cause that tiny 1.x% casting speed does not seem like it could be that important?

Q: Would you please give more detail as to how dex affects a caster? For instance, I understand that when I have my dex maxed I will cast 25% faster. How does this work incrementally? And will a lurikeen be able to cast faster in the end than another race?

A: From a dex of 50 to a dex of 250, the formula lets you cast 1% faster for each ten points. From a dex of 250 to the maximum possible (which as you know depends on your starting total), your speed increases 1% for every twenty points. So, as you can see, a lurikeen may be able to cast A VERY TINY AMOUNT faster than another race, but just barely, and even then depending on the starting stat.

By the way, this same explanation works for the quickness stat for weapon users.

no idea but my hunter has 390 dex now with aug dex 2, not sure why but someone said get as much as possible (tbh i dont see much difference to when i switch gear and have 380) anyone know how dex/bow formular works to?

with bow ur dex affects ur damage so the higher ur dex the higher ur damage

this being base damage offcourse because ur damage cap is affected by speed of ur Bow (slower=higher)

don't know formula's tho

450dex is hardcap afaik. no more weaponskill/damage when its above 450dex. a friend of mine had a saracen scout on gorre with close to 450dex:>

same counts for tanks with 450str for their weaponskill.
350dex is block/parry hardcap i heard?

250quickness is max. above that your damage will drop. or 250+quickness doesn't affect at all like the str/dex hardcaps
