More 18/18 Counter Strike servers

Come give us more 18/18 servers please

barrys are the best servers around, but are limited, there are only about 5 18/18 servers, not including the 2 FF on servers, which i rarley play due to lame ass Tkers, but there are loads of 12/12 servers, can we not have a couple more changed over to 18/18 please.

when i refresh the server list, most of the 12/12 are not even full, but the 18/18 servers are always full,and you have to wait for an opening to jump in.

The servers we have at barrysworld are limited and with new games appearing we can't add new CS servers.

Just wait your turn and join a server when there's a free space like the rest of us do.

if there's 20 servers, why not make half 12 players, and the other half 18? I usually prefer playing on 18 player servers, but 12 is sometimes good fun too, a little less rushed

I was playing on the FF server a fair bit this weekend, and I got tk'ed once, and the tk'er apologized to me, which also happened whenever someone accidently hit me too, who said bw servers aren't [mostly] friendly?

i do wait my turn,i only play barrys servers now, cause they are the best, and have done since the early beta's
but when you look at how many 12/12 servers there are compared to 18/18, my opinion is the 18/18 servers are more popular, and also with WP refugees wouldnt it make more sense to change some of the 12/12 to 18/18.

More players means more cpu usage, maybe the servers are shared with more than one game. Dont you think that this is why they have to limit players?

18 players are more popular for lowpingers. But my connection can't take 18 without getting 250+ pings.

Anyhow i like 12 + 14 plyr servers. Usually the most skilled comes out on top instead of the guy with the lowest ping.

But if the 12's arent popular and not full u could remove 3 12's and add 2 18's instead.

213.221.174.6 and 7 both host six 12 player servers, so its possible.

TBH I find that most maps don't haandle 18 players very well.

I have to say that I totally agree with Jobbie.


I only have the 18 servers (non-TK er...I mean non-FF) on my Gamespy tab.

I think the 18 man servers may have to be reduced to 16 man especially with the release of 1.3 and voice comms, they are coming close to what they can handle now already.

Changing servers to 18 (16?) man servers would mean overall there would be less servers, I myself would like say 2 more 18 man servers, but then server admin gotta balance out the load, and change them and stuff and I fink its a bit busy in the barry camp atm I'll have a word when I think there'll be a chance of it being done and after 1.3 has been released.

I am not sure if 12 man servers do require more skill. 18 people servers mean 3 more people trying to kill and out smart you. Wait.... yes i think i got the maths right.

I find that there is always a lot more going on, you need to keep your wits about you. I must admit it can be a little tricky with a modem connection... just let the lpbs rush and kill each other at the start.

Normally i play on 12 person servers. Means having to wait shorter periods of time when i get killed Only when i am really up for a proper game of CS will i join an 18 person server.

Stupid question, but if there are more 12 person servers how come none of them are ff on??

Now estate on a 32 man server would be 'fun' bloodbath!!

I also like smaller servers than 18/18, but it pisses me off in 12/12 rooms sometimes they arent always full(which means uneven teams and too easy). I think u should have either some 14/14 servers or 16/16. Also 32/32 servers are ace.
