Morale on PvP

We all know the feeling of that annoying twat, killstealing and shit, u simply cant stand the fact that ure in same realm and hes outta bounds.

Now PvP comes, some ppl u can kill (most actually), only a few exceptions.

Here is the million dollar question:
WILL you kill everything in sight?

The thought seems alluring at first, but the long range perspectives are ... gloomy: Only 1 group at any pull spot in the whole world at a time, everyone getting ganked 20 times a day etc etc.

How do u plan to act?

I plan to never ever join a game on a PvP server again. Not after the first 3 months on Ultima Online. Only reason i went for DaoC was the PvP safe areas.

I have been playing on Andred for a little while now and I have seen many people that kill each person they see, and sometimes it looks like some kinda guild event when a full grp run around in the different realms killing everybody they see. But there are also lots of nice people Whats realy annoying is that people usually stand near the guards we get our kill tasks from and then they kill you so you loose your task. Thats realy annoying in the start, but you just gotta ignore it and keep on going, or else you are doomed.

Ofcourse everybody will be tempted to kill somebody if you see a guy who is worth a reward, or if you just feel like killing him.

Then we got all these so called " anti pk`s" who kills everybody that kills somebody. Doesnt that make them a pk too ?.

Well it's a big place.. I'll be pretty much solo'ing with a solo class as much as poss. I've the patience of a whale so I don't care if it takes me 6 months to get to lvl 50

Then I'll remember every single person who's caught me soloing or killed me in a completely kiddy way and catch up with them. Revenge I think will be the order of the day for me. I will never kill someone unless they

a) Attack me first
b) Have killed me in the past
c) are being nobheads
d) Say 'plz' instead of 'please'
e) Pointlessly ganking greys

Gonna be so much fun. I shall indeed be righteous with my actions as well as my words. Hell, I might even roleplay it and let people come to me with contracts to protect them. um...I think a nice item of any level will see me clear to babysit someone for an hour
In fact I'm gonna make a guild of bounty hunters D
Possibilities are endless.

Easy, leave the pvp server for the pking fools it was intended for.

Can't wait for all the twats to move over to it, as someone else said above, one of the main reason DAOC is good is because you only encounter pvp when you want it and when you decide to go into the frontiers.

I will write down every person that kills me in a way which I feel is lame, I will them hunt them down in RL and stab everyone of them in the eye with a fork.

What could be quite fun is to go a wizard/theurg(or who ever does damage buffs for other realms) let people run up to you and spam their BUFfS PLZ!!!!! macro, buff them then bolt bolt dd dd once they have run off.
Personally I think I'd quite enjoy that.

after that my plan gets a little fuzzy but i was thinking of attacking half of cutting edge without provercation, and then running backwards while pulling faces at the 60 odd players that come after me (i hear over 100+ peeps have applyed, so i'm definatly gonna fuck with them )

What planet are you on? The fact that we appeal to a more mature (judging by the peeps who have applied so far) group of people does not make us "elitist." Unless by that you imply well-organised, friendly, selfless etc etc. And we arent trying to be the guild of all guilds, as you put it. Nobody yet knows what German, French or other English server guilds have in store for PvP, but if I and others can provide a safe friendly environment for a group of like-minded people to gain experience in does that make us "elitist" ??? Mature in our approach, yes...no kiddielamers are welcome in the guild. If by "Elite" you mean "Mature" or "not acting like a headless chicken brigade with no sense of purpose" then you may have the right idea but the wrong analogy.

No policy has yet been put forward publicly by CE as to it's long term ambition on the PvP server, as has no other guild. But we do believe in setting achievement targets of something worthwhile for outselves as a group rather than as individuals, otherwise whats the bloody point of playing a game without any long term objective?

Heard an amazing story from South Korea a while back. It seems a long running feud on a PvP game (don't know which game) got a bit out of hand and lead to the police investigating two murders
