Help Moonwalking...

Hello Freddies,

I am doing a half marathon powerwalk to raise money for Cancer. Yep I know it is only 21 k and its only walking it but its a big deal for me. You see I am not the fittest girl in the land (and yes I am not ashamed to admit that I did think I was going to have to do the whole 'Michael Jackson thing' when it was first suggested) Even though its only walking -you have to do it fast and you can hit the 'wall' and everything

I got 6 friends to do it with me and we are busy training. It is happening on Saturday 16th May (during the night) in central London and we have to do it in our bras

I was really hoping that you freddies would sponsor me for getting off my arse and actually trying to raise money- we have all been affected by Cancer in some way. Last year the Moonwalk raised 9 million. This year the target is 10 million -but everyone is very concerned because of the current economic climate that people will not give.

The money goes directly to cancer charities in the UK to support famillies, people with cancer, Macmillan nurses and research. I know we are always asked to be charitable and dig deep, but one day all this will make cancer a disease of the past.

can't spare a dime at the moment but want to wish you good luck for a very worthy cause, my parents have lost two friends to cancer in the last few weeks so it's a subject quite close to home at the moment.

Well the day of reckoning has come round fast!!!

I have been training for 14 weeks and we are all ready -BRING IT ON.

We have to enter 'Playtex City' (Yeh- I know) between 8-9pm on Saturday in our Bra's for fun and frolics before our big start at around 12. Hope it does not rain.
