Hmm just spent the last 3 hours reading that stuff, and learnt more about the moon landings than in the previous 28 years of my life, I guess I should say thanks for posting this, very interesting.

As for if I think it was a hoax or not, I didnt before I read this and certainly dont belive it was a hoax now ;)

yeah i found it very interesting too, like the lack of stars etc. In this i dont mind if joor comes up with other theories cause tbh that summed up all the doubts i have had

i personally dont know either way,
NASA did imo doctor images and video (its not exactly hard with billions behind you), and ther was a significant political drive behind the mission that would warrant it.
The only way to know the truth would be to send another mission by a impartial party

yes but other people have tested the photographs at negative level, unbiased ppl who dont work for NASA

Cant doctor a photograph at its basic negative film state

Yes they cropped etc so the photos looked better, buts thats after the negative stage, at developement stages

i read a press release the other day where buzz aldrin stated he saw a UFO tailing their pod as it was coming to land on the moon.

he stated years ago he may of noticed something but only now has said what. apparently hes nearly slipped several times while talking about it.

i dont think the moon landing was a hoax but some of the pics seem suspicious. id go as far as to say some of the photos where real, while others were staged on earth. maybe testing the cameras out or what ever, except they then released them to the public too.

Didnt Japan or China once survey the moon - via satellite or some such methood and themselves confirm the moon buggy was there - now unless aliens like hoofing it around moon dunes - does look like it has been confirmed by a third party if it is right..

Anyone who thinks man never went to the moon seriously needs to get educated a bit more... piss me off people who prefer to look for a conspiracy than actually think for once that something may have actually happened like it was said to have.

They almost always exhibit strong paranoid tendencies with an extreme distrust and hatred of the U.S. government. Rather than allowing the evidence to speak for itself, they will often begin by assuming a hoax and then search for evidence to support that preconception. When they see something that looks suspicious they immediately accept it as proof of their belief.

just about says it all tbh. why would they have made many more trips to the moon long after the public had lost interest?

The hoax believers create a delusional fantasy in which they are the heroes. Their ability to decipher the subtle clues and uncover the hoax is seen as a demonstration of their intellectual superiority. To the hoax believers the more complex and convoluted the theory, the smarter they feel for having figured it all out. To the rest of us the theory just doesn't make any sense.

I've sat on both sides of the fence on this one and read both sides of the story - twice. Ultimately, I do not reckon the moon landings were faked.

No they (Japan) didnt,
the launch was delayed because of technical problems, they are launching a IR satelite in september 06, but the ones that can take pictures wont be launched till 2008 according to the website

I fail to see why it pisses you off that people pick on discrepencies in the "evidence", if the whole thing was made transparent to the public then there would be no ground for conspiracy theories

Only cretins thibnk the landings were faked, more interestingly have a search for Russias attempts to land on the Moon, their last chance rocket blew up on the launch pad..it was a SOLO-FLIGHT!!

One occupant, who had to fly to the Moon alone, spacewalk to get to the lander from the orbiter, then land and fly himself back to the orbiter, he would have been totally alone on the surface, now thats a brave fella.

if you have a choice of being killed (along with your family) while still on earth, or going to the moon and maybe surviving and becoming a hero you will take the latter one.

American President John F. Kennedy set a goal in May 1961, when he made the following famous speech. 'I believe that this nation should commit itself. To achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to the Earth. No single space project in this period will be more impressive to mankind or more important for the long range exploration of Space.' It was just eight years later in 1969, that man finally left Earth and set foot on the Moon... Or ?

If Man were so successful at landing on the Moon over 30 years ago, why haven't we been back?
Since it only took 8 years from President Kennedy's announcement till the first mission, why would it take 37 years to send man back to the Moon for the 7th time?
In a World that is vastly technologically superior to the 1960's, why would it take over twice as long to do the same thing today?

Why didn't Russia even bother to land a cosmonaut on the Moon after the Americans beat them to it??? Russia were ready to launch their own craft just one month after the success of the Apollo 11 Mission - so why did they scrap their lunar program? Many people would say that its because it was too late, but if you want to look at it like that, why didn't this apply to NASA when the Russians beat America in putting the first satellite, animal, man, woman and space station into orbit? Russia would not have thrown in the towel just because America had beaten them at one single thing in Space!

Also, during Project Apollo, six highly complex manned craft landed on the Moon, took off and returned to Earth using a relatively low level of technology. An 86% success rate. Since Apollo, twenty five simple, unmanned craft with increasingly higher levels of technology have attempted to fulfil their missions to Mars. Only seven succeeded. Russia have, and continue to have unmanned craft launch into space. Their project worked more towards first sending an unmanned lander to the Moons surface to collect samples, take pictures and measure radiation levels. Why did NASA not even send an unmanned craft to the Moons surface before risking human lives?

The main reason why the US Government and NASA faked the 'official record' is because they could not be seen to be the weak link, especially when you consider that during the 60's, the USA were at the height of the Cold War with Russia. Also their own President had forecast that before the end of the 60's Man would be on the Moon. It would be better to try and fool the public and hoax the footage, rather than let their biggest rival in the World strike a huge moral victory by beating them to the Moon.

The Russians abandoned manned Moon flights to concentrate on robotics, they sent several rovers to the Moon and just after the US landed they dropped hundreds of Russian badges on the surface , there are bath-sized Russian rovers up there now..of course you didnt know that , hoax believers always know very little, they just decide to listen to bullshit.

why would they continue to constantly send to the moon when they have sampled it? they know what its about etc

They are now consentrating on mars now. Its like someone figuring out a major find then another person saying fuck it i will do the same and come up with the same results.

NASA and other countries now work more or less together now sharing information, tho i imagine all do still keep some info to themselves

Just try with a little logic here to answer the question. America had a goal. To reach to moon before the russians and before 1970. And as we all know, they landed summer 1969. Just a couple of months before the deadline. Maybe because they didnt use resources on landing unmaned crafts on the moon they were able to land a manned craft there before 1970?

Seems like a logical explanation to me tbh...

Be a little sceptical mate! Would do you some good... And no, youre not sceptical, you've already made up your mind about whats right and wrong, hence, you dont need to be sceptic...

edit:
Well, i only responded to your claims in your post, but i did a little research:
-----
Unmanned missions

Before sending a human crew to the moon, the United States government decided that unmanned spacecraft should first explore the moon by photography and confirm the possibility of landing safely on it.

The Americans focused their efforts on sending a probe to the moon with their Pioneer program. However, three designs of probe on three different rocket launchers all failed in a total of ten attempts. The Soviet Luna program had launched Luna 1, the first spacecraft to fly past the moon on January 4, 1959. Its successor, Luna 2, was the first spacecraft to land on the moon, while Luna 3 took the first photos of the far side of the moon on October 7, 1959. Luna 9, launched by the USSR on February 3, 1966, performed the first "soft landing" on the moon; and Luna 10 became the first spacecraft to orbit the moon on April 3, 1966.

The robotic Surveyor program was part of the American effort to locate a safe site on the moon for a human landing. Five of Surveyor's seven missions were successful, helping to find the best target for the Apollo astronauts. Apollo 8 carried out the first manned orbit of the moon on December 27, 1968, laying the groundwork for placing a man on the moon.

Well they may not have landed but they might not have thought it to be necessary ^_^

Look at that post by him, NONE of it has factual relevence. Merely based on the power of assumption.

Etc.

That's not factual information. That says to us 'zomg, they didnt land on the moon but I have nothing to back this up with so I'll post what apparently the majority of the world thinks!' It's just trash-talk, trying to spur up rumors.

Was easier just to say 'stfu' tbh.

Now go make more spelling mistakes on easy words! :p
