Monopoly streets - Worth playing?

Just spotted this:

Basically monoploy on the world map where you can pick a street(s) anywhere in the world (using google maps) and start playing.

But can't work out if this would be worth playing (I should read the manual, but had to dash to work :/ )

According to El Reg its servers have buckled under the load. May be worth leaving it for a bit. Nice idea though, although I doubt it would keep me engaged enough to play like an MMO.
