Best tool is Powerstrip. Lets you create as custom monitor driver so you can set the resolution to whatever you like.

Find the native resolution of the monitor you have, set your resolution to that.

Unless you like viewing your computer screen through a pair of prescription glasses designed for someone else.

With 22" you usually run 1680x1050 :>

If its widescreen ofc

i have a flatscreen monitor not sure of length cba to measure it but i find hooking the back legs of my rubber terrantula over the top right hand corner so it looks like its climbing down the screen adds a touch of finesse not generally found with such appliances, that and the william shattner desktop gives it a really stylish feel.

tris- i can make you a wallpaper, anything you need. My PM box is rather empty at the moment of work related stuff so, request away.

Got a 24" wideflat, so 1960 x ...mhmhmhm...is what i use. Or some such :D

Moody as in, "sad" or "puts in in a general mood"?

I could come up with some, sepia stuff for xample, "old" looking.

gloomy type of scenery with light rays busting through etc

good stuff soze thats the shit im on about.

though ideally id like it more gloomy and more intense sun bursting through.
it should give an impression of gloom fighting the light.
