I'm looking to spend around 100 notes on a new 19" widescreen monitor, so I have come to you wonderful people for recommendations.

Obviously it'll need as good resultions as possible, same for response times and refresh rates. Will be playing games, manipulating images etc. as well as general PC usage so if anyone has any recommendations that'd be great.

Cheers!

How flexible are both the budget and size requirements? You could go for a 22" for around £20 more then your budget which is quite a big difference or going upto 23 or 24" you'll notice an even larger difference, paying around £30-50 more then your budget for them.

For example:
Samsung SM2343NW 23" TFT Monitor 2048x1152 300cd/m2 20000:1 5ms VGA Black 3 Years Warranty - Ebuyer

At £140, that's a steal and being Samsung as well is always a bonus for monitors. I'm sure there are cheaper about too...

Size wise I can't really go bigger as we don't have the space for it. Might be able to squeeze that 20" in, I'll take a looksy.
