Money Making without Darkness Falls

Hi,

Im finding it hard to raise my Tailoring due to a shortage in the ole purse department. I really dislike Darkness Falls and the whole Seal part that goes hand in hand with crafting and was wondering if there is an alternative?

I don't mind salvaging and trinketing but the problem is finding the drops. I have access to my brothers level 50 DS Necro so hunting is no problem. Does anyone know of a decent place for Money and Salvagable item drops?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Vikings in Gwyddneau, they drop only arcanium salvagable armor/weapons etc, no cloth/leather or jewelry, so plenty of money to be made there.... you can find they just past the river on the south shore.

In mid we have Lair where you can pwl chars and make good money. Its pretty empty atm due to the new pwl spot (can’t remember the name atm). All you need is to gather a crew of 4 SMs, a BB and a pac Healer.
I made 1P + a LOT of drops + loot = about 3,5P in a few hours (was a bit lucky with the drops )
AE is a good way to good money (in all 3 realms afaik)

yes they drop alot but, loads r also grey and when u need to kill em all for repop wich also takes some time.. DF 4thewin

I've now managed to get a little money (4.5p ). What i'm now facing is a tough decision.

Im on 713 tailoring, should i use the 4.5p to continue raising my tradeskill or use most of it (3.2p i think) to purchase a plot of land, house & consignment merchant. On the merchant i thought of selling sets of BG armor and the jewellry drops (from farming but cant salvage) to have a steady income (bit of a gamble)?

Any ideas?

cm's tend to sell mostly respec stones and stuff from toa atleast thats what ive sold most of the past weeks.

IF you go 800 tailoring, you can up your metalworking for almost for free to 800. then you can salvage and make hinges yourself from, DF . you can buy seals, buy swords, salvage sword, make hinges.

I've decided to raise my skill more instead of buying a Plot/House mainly because i see a LOT of CM's already selling Cloth/Leather items and theyre in a lot better position than i could get. I'll use this as a future goal though when i get LGM Tailor

I think i may change my mind about DF and the seals when i hit 800 Metalworking as it's a lot easier to buy seals than get drops it seems, just hope we have access to it when i do reach 800 MW

Guess just like Diamond Seals.. the items (weapons) costing least (sp?) seals bring more bars/seal.

made loads of cash there, altho has been a while tho
now i make money in ToA, farmed loads of scrolls, now i'm busy with selling drops i get from raids
have fun on alb
hib is paradise, u can actually get some arti's, even if u are a casual player
