It's been a few months since I had to put my 19 year old special-girl down and now I've got round to getting some new mogz. Henry and Alfie (don't blame me for your names boys)
My little one is 18, and she just sleeps all day, and has gone a bit deaf too. she cries a lot at about 3am cos she cant work out where i am, so i have to get up and turn the light on so she comes into the bedroom and crashes out in the corner
Took mine for his 1st year check up and jab this morning, had to abort it last week because he wouldn't fit in the carry box, fucker nearly ripped the door off his new dog size carry box though. The vet pretty much confirmed that he probably has some Norwegian forest cat in him, much bigger than the other fully grown cats around here, built like a panther and completely black. Was feral when I got him but soft as anything now
took my cat to the vet this week, 16 year old tabby - built like a brick shithouse - and the vet paraded him around to the staff. the little bugger loved it
My cat Hairy iz(Here he is/Hairy Ears)got run over recently, went missing then turned up at the front door 4 days later with one of it's back legs barely hanging on. He went to the vets and had some mechano fitted, cage rest for 4 weeks and now we're in to house rest for 6 weeks. Great fun He's such a soft cat though, he doesn't like it when you touch the leg but he won't bite, he'll just push his nose in to your hand to get it off.
I've got a guinea pig called Pinky. He vigilantly guards She Who Must Be Adored when I'm at work. We do a shift handover on my return. It costs a lot of celery to buy that kind of peace of mind for your loved ones.
