Mods: WHY are you closing so many threads!?

Perhaps Nova is right, but i think its a pointless discussion, most topics i seen which been closed, were pointless topics anyways.

I agree with Nova here. This is the RvR Forum. And RvR includes whines, flaming. Post Replys on the German RvR Forum who include personal attacks just get edited out with a warning to the person who wrote it. No need to close the whole Thread.

No, fact is it's Deebs' and TTD's forum, not yours. They make the rules, and if you can't abide by them don't bother posting here.

They must show their powers to close every single thread they dont like. And if u write a post with less then 5 words in, u get a PM with a spam-warning.
I wouldnt be suprised if i got banned because of this post

depends if it's a several page thread with only a couple of people posting shite

or if it's a 2 page thread entirely composed of shite.

For the former moderating the individual posts is a good idea.

For the latter it's just a waste of time.

Now, Subedai, if you were paying for bandwidth and were running the forums, you'd be dead right.
However here, you couldn't be more wrong.
You are here, as a guest of Ted and Deebs.
It is Ted and Deebs who run the servers, pay for the bandwidth sort the admin.
The moment they don't want you, or even all of the DAoC lot wasting their bandwidth, the daoc section goes bye bye.
While you play on their turf, you play by their rules, end of story.

If I moderated every single thread I didn't like it'd look far more like the VN devs round table than it does.

There's a good reason you get spam warnings Nalistah - I seem to recall it was you posting "QQ" on just about every thread in the RvR section once - that may have been back at BW, so whines from you are a bit rich.

Tip: don't post spam threads or completely mob sensible threads in spam and they won't get locked. If you follow the CoC the thread stays open - so far this one has, so it does.

1: can the OT noobs crawl bak to their hole, most of u dont play game anymore.

2: although it is their forum we are still the community and thus i believe we deserve some rights in what we want. if the community doesnt care about some spam or flames then why lock it? tor forum is here to for discussion and if that type of discussion is fine with every1 then there is no need to lock it.
some people actually enjoy looking at flame posts and find it funny, it can also help build up the community cuz cross realm flaming makes it all the more fun in rvr when u meet em in battle
