Mod-Level free CTF only server BW?

The lack of decent servers in the UK is almost a farce with the BW servers being the only really fast ones I can think of.

The thing is, the views on mod levels seems to be split down the middle. None of the '2nd' variants of existing levels are any good and levels like dropzone and deathcoaster are feeble 'cut & paste' jobs, 2 levels which are notorious for seeing people drop in a hurry.

Anyway, a CTF only mod-free level server will be a much welcome addition from BW, anything to save me from the ping spiking Wireplay servers.

IGN.ie run 3 very good servers, IGN 1, 2 and,erm.. 3.

These servers are just as good as the BW ones, and IGN 1 is a CTF non-mod only server.

indeed IGN 1 and 2 are mod free

IGN 3 is C&H, D&D and F&R only

We are testing 1 mod on server 1. Tribes Arena will be up soon into the CTF cycle, just for a change like. If it is shite we take it down simple.

I cannot see this going over one or two mods at a time. Now ww3 and normandy are gone the forthcoming mods dont look good.

I don't wish to sound disrespectful, but the IGN server are not as fast or stable as the BW server. As a 64K ISDN'er I get quality 50 pings on the BW server, as for IGN servers I get an average of 120 and lots of ping spike

Thanks for running the servers nontheless, its just within the interests of myself and others to play on the fastest possible available, which at the moment in time is BW. Shame about those mod levels eh
