Mobile phone signal boosters

Has anyone tried one of these?
The site my main office is at is a bit of a rape zone so to speak, you struggle to get a signal at all.
Thinking about buying one, just wondering if any of you had past experiences with them?

Might be easier changing networks, its more likely that the mast cannot reach your phone, rather than your phone not being able to reach the mast.

Does that make sense?

Yeah when i was on transfer to another store, my o2 network couldnt get any signal, but its believed Voda and Orange actually worked...

It does, but i need to be on voda really. These things are only about £30...

You're on a pay as you go phone? All the networks offer them, I doubt voda is the cheapest.
