Fooling around with Project Entropia now.
Looks REALLY promising, both graphic, gameplay and economics-wise.
Still buggy/laggy as hell though, so if you like to whine, stay off it!

As for World War 2 Online, it has been running since June 2001, but it was so buggy and unplayable at release - even for a MMORPG which are traditionally terrible to begin with and then they get patched and improved - that they never recovered. yep i have to agree here the best online game is UO and probley will be the best ive played it for 4 years now and never once bored of it tbh i think that says it all.

ppl leave daoc everyday due to boredom
ppl leave UO every year maybe.

can anyone say here that you will be playing daoc in a years time? dont think so

One I'm looking forward too (although release can't be said to be 'soon' - beta should start in May 2003) is Dragon Empires. It's looking pretty stunning (check out the 'sky' video if you've got a good connection), has a decent publisher behind it (Codemasters) and the developers seem to have a good liaison with the community.

It's also being largely developed in the UK - which should be good for us Euro players.

UO was good then they put in carebear land.. well it was not good but well , but now with Blackarse's revenge I gotta laugh..they runied the game totaly , from a cool pvp game they made it into a hunt for feeking flower seed's WUUHHUUUU
