ML7 - Rerun - Tuesday 11th May

I really am sorry for any overlap with ML5, but this is the only night I can really make this week to repeat this.

We will get GOA to despawn and respawn Katorii before then, since she was up to her old buggy tricks tonight and last seen performing lap dances for the flame of volcanus.

Time: 7 for 7:30 depart

Place: Volcanus Haven

Aims: Battlegroup steps of ML7 only (7.7-7.10)

Loot rules: We will roll separately for keys, static drops (MPs, legendary components, enamels), scrolls, and remains. No one can win more than one item in each of those lottos. Other than that, anyone can roll for anything.

Depends on the numbers as to whether this goes ahead. As I said on the bg tonight, I won't leave the haven if I don't believe we have a decent chance of success. However, will do our best.

tbh a master level 7 raid is more rare than a raid that can be done with 1FG.

Well, intire ml5 can be done with a relativ balanced group, atleast we did it as a fg.

we got whiped when mob was on 0% with 1 "unbalanced" fg. But i don't like wacking a mob for 45 minutes while 3 fg can do it in 15 minutes. Besides a lot of ppl need credit. and some of them don't really fit in a balanced group

Guys, yes its true that you can do ML5 with fewer people than ML7, but this isn't a "my raid is more important than your raid so you must bow before me" sort of discussion.

It's just very unfortunate that Tuesday is the only free night I have this week, and my goal is currently to rerun a successful ML7 before Friday so that anyone who missed it first time around has time to make up the MLxp and come to Aerus with us. (If they want to, of course.)

I hate having to coincide with a previously planned raid, and I am sure that anyone who needs both ML5 & ML7 (whether on different alts or not) is going to be very grateful at having the chance to do both. <hugs Olez>

I was thinking about writing some clever things about GOA and the servers but that would do it:

3 times I tried to do ML7 BG steps, 3 times failed because of zone crash and/or bugged Katorii. ~9 hours of wasted time. Thx Mythic & GOA.

Thanks everyone who came along tonight. Great work on keeping the raid going and moving in the right direction and recovering from some very unexpected setbacks en route! Especially to Dreanocla for volunteering to be Katorii bait again and Gimpstrel for dodging the purple snakes of death in the maze.

We did eventually manage to take Typhon down, despite various circumstances being against us (ie. zone crashing while we were busy with one of Katorii's snakes and her bouncing around semi-randomly and aggroing the raid just after we logged back in.) Really sorry to anyone who wasn't able to complete ML7 either due to not getting credit for 7.7, which wasn't back up when we went back to try to redo it, or for unfortunate lds.

There will be more ML7 raids, but my nerves are a bit shot with that one right now so can't say precisely when.

Allthough i was one of those who missed 7.7 and therefor 7.10 also... i got to say yesterdays raid was really nice done and there is none except the server and those running the server we can really blaim for missing 7.7... We tried going back.. but of some crazy reason the snakes and Typhon got reset but NOT the 7.7 mob... Lets just hope that someone will take the lead and go trough those BG steps another day soon... And i wonder... when i am ML6.. do i then get MLxp for 7.* which i have done before? or do i have to be ML7+ to get MLxp for em?

You can earn ML xp for repeating most group & all bg steps on MLs that you have fully completed and claimed, or the one you are currently working on, where there are people in your group who haven't yet done that step.

Just an afterthought if anyone is thinking of running another anytime in the near future (or any raid) prehaps some weekend ones would be nice for us that work
