We have done 5.2 numerous times with pure tank groups. Its not impossible but requires awake players and abit of tactic :p

sure, pre 1.68 or post 1.68 ? Good luck on those awake tanks, they tend to fall asleep after 2 hours of scarab slashing.

Post 1.68 - actually only 2 weeks ago.

The key is to leave the room asap as he starts to shrink. This way you get no or only 1-2 scarabs following you out. Kill them quick and the other scarabs start to gather again and rebuild Mr Mofo with no or near to zero HP regained.

raid failed because there was no .6-.8 in either dungeon, did everything checked back everynow and again, 4 hours later still nothing. everyone in the 2 grps got credit for 5.1-5.5 but was unable to go any further do to this bug.

Will have to orginise a 5.9 and 5.10 at a later date to complete this ml. Damn buggy dungeon. (and we tried everything in the book to make em pop too)

Shame the dungeon is buggy as hell and we have n00bs who cant listen to raid leader tho :(

Would like to join up again if there is another raid.
Was annoying that we could not finish it :(
And group 2 had it slightly easier, seeing where group 1 went wrong :)

You would need a scout because the normal way to do it is to engage the 5.2 mob with a pala and shoot him with a scout/merc. So he dosnt split into little scarabs.

We did engage with a pally, and pbaoe him to death (throw in an ice debuff to make it hurt).
Worked in the end, but problem was only one ice wiz, limited mana (ml5 gives cleric access to fop) and so we quickly meleed it to death as it was on only 2% when the ice wiz was very, very oop.
