If you were unhappy with the leadership, why not speak to Graendel personally via PM or in-game?
I was on the raid and went LD also (and so did a paladin in our group about 5-6 times (Hi Ashen!).
We stopped plenty of times for LD people in my opinion.
Leaders make a jugement whether to make 100 or so people wait 5-10mins more or to proceed.
Why don't you make a raid and see how easy it is.
