Lame ass GoA letting their parent company upset their paying customers like this.
Was simply stupid, 5 mass ld's pretty much in a row, shame the raid had to be cancelled. 140 people waisted their time, due to those smelly french monopolists abusing their power, and GoA not caring about their paying customers.
Regards, Glottis

thanks for taking over the raid eggy.

just a mini fyi:

a 100-man zerg entering the room and lagging into medusa will often start the encounter;
once you start the 3.10 encounter, aoe ice traps will go off on the stairs until medusa is killed (or deaggro'd by everyone logging out, but that's not going to happen with aoe aggro);
a zerg on the top of the stairs (the balcony) will set off the ice traps;
standing in the middle of pulsing aoe damage is bad;
telling people to stay stood in the aoe damage until all are dead is bad;
yelling at the people who move out of the aoe damage to a nice safe spot in the corner, telling them to get back into the death zone is bad;
subsequently blaming the smart people for the death of the zerg after the raid leader made a poor judgement call is bad;

otherwise, a reasonable raid in the cicumstances.

I personally was locked outside of Medusa's room as the ice traps went off, and was informed by many others that it was a few Cadre members stuck to each other that had moved directly onto the stairs/over the balcony and started the encounter. If this was incorrect I apologise, I was only going on information given to me.

I don't need people PMing me telling me I am "moody" or "arrogant", I took over the raid on good will, and it was completed with high spirits and with 80 getting full credit.

Grats to everyone on the raid, was fun and generally very fast.

Nope. Was the Cadre members who moved to the safe spot out of aggro, only to be yelled at by the uninformed...

I didn't say you would. I said it was lucky timing?

Ahhh yes it was lucky, I have a screenshot of myself LDing at 0% lol, would have been funny had I not got credit.

Eggy thanks for showing leadership and taking control of a GOA doomed raid.

Eggy did what he had to do to make it winnable and make it quick.

There were people walking down the stairs setting off the icetraps - that wasnt eggys fault - that was the people who did not listen. This started off the encounter which screwed it up royally for us.

point missed.

the people down the stairs were not setting off the ice traps... that was the people stood ANYWHERE on the stairs, or the balcony once the initial laggers ran off into medusa.

erm u missed the point m8.... there was an individual running up and down the stairs, i stood and watched him, and yelled at him - but still the headless chicken ran around

<cluck><cluck><cluck>....

I feel sorry for those 5 ppl who went ld right at the very end :( - to have come through so much to be screwed up at the end.

Eggy u did a fantastic job m8 - it take a real leader to succeed when the odds are looking stacked against.
