The person who will find ML10 portal will receive 10P from me.

Requirements: ML9 (closed with ML exp as well)

General rules
1. Listen to the leader.
2. Dont go afk, the leader keeps the right to remove any afker from the raid and from the lotto as well.
3. Buffbots are allowed on the raid and on the lotto if you are able to manage 2 chars (but please inform me about bots before the raid, any _underclared buffbot_ would be banned from the raid/lotto).
4. Lotto rules are pretty simple: all do /random 1000, ppl pick items starting from the person with a highest roll.
5. I claim 1 drop (but not SoD) from the raid.

the raid itself goes fairly smooth with the number of people that usually join..
10p is a nice deal for whoever finds portal and still gives leader a cheap ml10 item..

alot better to give 10p than 2p

the non-claiming solution (this is not flaming, just thoughts) would be letting the people joining raid donate a bit of cash to a fund.. and the entire content of that fund goes to whoever finds the portal. But then again, will that work? will people give a total sum that will be just as nice as the 10p? Guess one has to try it out some time..

oh btw.. is there a limit to how many bots you can bring to roll?

1 person - 1 shammy bb, no other bots r allowed (no pom bot, no pbt bot, no guard bot ^^). And please be sure u r able to manage it and respond from both char u play - im gonna check random ppl durring the raid. The one who doesnt respond for long enough will be banned from the lotto.

Shared funds look ok too but won't work at all unless it's a smaller guild/alliance raid and not a public one.

Well yes and no.. what one could try is say.. if you donate a plat.. you get +20 or something on the /random 1000 .. might make the difference.. but say only first 20 people to offer gets to donate.

sorry about using your thread as a discussion thread, just airing some ideas. I will most likely join your raid with warrior+shammy (if I'm home)

/random 1000 or /random 1020 .. isn't worth 1p imo.

Would be better if you get let's say +10% of what you roll, so if you roll 440.. your actual number would be 440+44 = 484.. or perhaps 5% for each plat you donate to "the portal" finder.

You can only donate a minimum of 1p and maximum 4p .. that would give +5%, +10%, +15%, +20%... when the total donation reached 20p you would close it

So the one that finds the portal before the raid will recieve 20p and those that donated will have a larger chance of winning an item.

only had two cups of coffiee down but I think more than 10% is too much. say you roll 900.. then you win with 990? hm.. or even with 20% - 1080.. it should have an advantage but not THAT big.

what I'm doing is trying to find a way to maybe avoid too much claiming on ml10 raids.
Ok say you get in 20p.. give 10p to raidleader for bothering with it and 10p to portal finder.. or give all 20p to portal finder and raidleader gets +10% on his roll.
