On the matter of Sko.

I understand why alot of people think poorly of him due to his actions. Sko was exluded from the last raid due to the request of several people. I spoke to Sko about it and explained that he would not be able to come on that raid.

No disrespect to these people but I am not going to discount him from anymore raids as he has never wronged me and I believe in giving second chances. Alot of people seem to be having a go at him when in truth the only person that should are those directly effected.

Simply put i don't want to get involved in this situation, I avoided the boat and the band wagon and have no wish to board now. I hope this wont stop people attending as to let something like this get in the way of your own advancement is silly. He has been punished so lets move on.

I ask that this thread not become hijacked by Sko bashing or whatever as I believe there is already a thread for that somewhere.

Sorry Lexa, I know this puts you in a bad possition - but I would like to pull out if Sko makes the signup, Like you said lets not drag the tone of the thread down but I refuse to do a raid with this theif..... for now.

IMO reconsider where you place bigchief - it REALLY helps if he can see how much mana people have, he wont be able to do this if not grouped with them. Last week one cleric in the pet spam roup was more than suficient, sounds mean but may be better to swap big chief with a cleric ? But what do i know

Yep, and then people [the ones that sign up and dont bother turning up/ warning in advance] whinge they never get onto raids because of favouritism.

Nah a necro can duel while grouped - aslong as the necro and the person being tapp'd are NOT in combat (this was a problem with Draco's AOE damage - it forced me and bigchief into combat so we couldnt duel)

Will be find with the necro in the same group as pet spam... and me outside (or a different person to be tapp'd)

Having a separate battery group (mini + necro) is a good idea imo. Then all the clerics aso. in the other groups get a chance to benefit from it.
It shouldn't be too difficult to communicate to Big if you need power, by e.g. making a macro like this: /macro Mana /send Bigchief Power pls m8, if u have some to spare
Maybe it will be better to make a cg (chat group) for this, a Battery chat group, to avoid using /send for this...?

What could be a problem is when the necro wants to target the guy who needs mana; Typing "/target [name]" each time seems to me to be a bit of a hassle... Maybe designate a spot close to the battery group, where ppl can place themselves when they need power. Then it will be easier for Big to target them.
We could set up a power font especially for this; a FoP which marks this particular spot, and which also replenishes power while ppl wait for the necro to help them.

Ppl should try to do without the Battery's assistance as long as they can though...

A message for Sko however, and this isn't a dig at you, just some friendly advice.

You've seen how almost everyone on this server has rallied together to show you just how unacceptable your behaviour was/is. We all enjoy playing this game (well, some of the time anyway) and like to think of it as being on the whole a friendly place free from excessive bigotism, aggression and just plain nastyness.

What you need to accept is that for as long as you carry on behaving as you are, not just in-game but also with your less than mature comments on these boards (I mean, do you really think the 'jew' comment would be considered 'cool' by anyone with half a brain?), then nobody else's opinion of you is going to change, and as a result you are going to continue finding yourself excluded from events like this indefinitely.

Not much fun for you really. And no skin off of anyone elses' nose.

The solution? Admit you've acted like an arse, say sorry PROPERLY to those you screwed over on the malice raid (and replace the axe), say sorry to EVERYONE who may have been offended by your comments on these boards, and most importantly, try to become part of and contribute to the community instead of trying to crap on it.

I'll tell you one thing, even that won't be a quick fix. You've got such a bad rep. now it'll take a lot of effort on your part to get people to think they can possibly trust you or even want your company on events again.

Question is, are you willing to make that effort.

If not, then save yourself a lot of wasted time and go start fresh on some other server/game.

Its hassle, seeing who has 70%power and who has 5% power for theurgs is 100x easier than waiting for macro spam. Having all support together != a good idea and the important thing is theurgs, not other casters. Pets makes the raid quick so the more pets the better. Having me grouped with the theurgs is by far the easiest way and the theurg group doesnt need a 2nd cleric, it might need the odd heal and the odd cure poison (scorpius) but a single buffbot was sufficient for these needs last raid. Necro+cleric+theurgs+whatever. I can duel tears when hes in another grp np, for him its not an issue. Only problem is dracos ae but we can go to one side for that. Having a group window to target people lop quickly and efficiently >>>>>>> target macros and pm spam. On draco last raid I gave over 15 bars of power to the theurgs. Doing that via pm's and target macros really would do my head in.

This kinda backs up what i said a few posts ago - drop one cleric from the pet spam group and replace it with bigchief - he can duel me while grouped aslong as we stay out of draco's AOE
