Well, Redflower won the lotto fair. But if you aren't sure about using the item I think you should consider selling it or trading it for something you would really like. As you can see some active clerics really wanted that item. And for the .69 idea, not sure how much you know about that patch, but I can tell you it's gonna be the worst patch for albs evar. I really don't think it's a smart move to put alot of efford (artis/exp/sc/etc) into your cleric for that patch.

Thanks Aussie, finally someone to say something meaningful. I've lost a great many times in raid lottos where people just rolled for about everything (like infils rolling for plate armor that I needed for my paladin) and I never complained. Having people complain in bg and on a public forum speaks for itself, the thing is I rolled for a class specific item and won end of story.

Yes, this toon started out as a buffbot, or else she wouldn't be on a different account obviously. However, I like to play her actively, believe it or not, she's been to Sidi raids on her own a couple of times already, because our guild group needed the wards she got from the trials. I've been looking forward to 1.69 for some time now and if all goes well it'll be here this week. If it still doesn't make enhancement clerics a viable option for RvR I'll respec my cleric, our guild is a bit short on rejuv clerics anyway so that will guarantee me a spot in guild RvR groups.

Think i've done enough for albion and organised enough ML raids the last weeks to earn that bow without rolling

dont agree with pre claiming but never moaned about it either (too many moany sods on raids anyway) so when u get the bow you still going to lead some ml 10 raids to get the rest of us poor old scouts a bow ? or you stopping when you got it ?

Stop defending yourself. You attended the raid with your character, you worked as hard as most others, and you abided by the rules set by the raid leader. The drop is yours to do with what you wish...

If someone brings a main and a buff bot to a raid and wants to lotto for the BB I have no problem with that so long as they are only rolling for 1 class (i.e not rolling on both the main and the BB).

I'd of brought a cleric to the raid to for the credit if my comp could handle it, but would only ever roll for one or the other, not both.

Its not different to doing the raid twice on different occasions with the characters, just saves time and means more buffs to go round.

I'm not gloating about anything, I'm attempting to make light of a silly squabble about an average item (yes it's average, it's just uncommon).
Yes, I have ML8/9/10 items, Artifacts, Sidi items, etc, etc on various characters which are not currently my RvR main. Is this any real consequence to anybody? Just don't think about all those other inactive people, or those who have quit the game or you'll never sleep again!

It's just loot - a souvenir of the day. You lost the roll, so go get another one. Can do ML10 with 2-3fg if you really want the thing.

I think there was some misunderstanding about what was mean by buffbots here. Redflower actively plays her cleric, and if that's what she was doing on the raid then she isn't a buffbot so it doesn't really apply, yes she also uses that toon as a buffbot for her other account, that may even be why the character was made.

Just because a cleric is specced enhance doesn't make them a buffbot. It makes them the person you love in RvR when you die and get rezzed and rebuffed without having to go back to atk.

My workmate and his missus both play DAoC, her MAIN char is a cleric, but she doesn't play as often as him so he often uses her char for a buffbot. Does this mean that if she comes on an ML raid she should be excluded from lotto's because he's used her as a BB before?

well 4 weapondrops , 4 armordrops and 5 stars of destiny. I'm doing the raid that day 2x with a break of 1-2hours to reset the encounter. means i'll have 26drops. I don't expect more then 40ppl to come so I guess you'll have a high chance on getting a drop. I'll continue to do these raids until I get bored or the interest in farming these items is gone.

Didnt think i was gonna post in this tread again, but here I go...

Redflower might play her Cleric thats not the point... I didnt object to Redflower winning, I objected to the item not beeing used, aka parked at ATK...

And for the record im not interrested the hauberg it would have been donated to the guild or sold if i had won it... I got about 866g total atm. but im not complaining, my template is complete and im very happy with it... So got no need for more untill i deside to change it...

Ppl do with their items what they want. If they won it, then they are allowed to let it rot on the char's inventory, while if someone else had won it they would perhaps have used it actively in rvr. That's up to them. The only thing that you have to make sure of is that everyone on the raid has the same chances of getting the item and that everyone is treated the same way.

Organised ML4-ML10 at start of ToA, lead the first wave albs to ML10. Afaik I didnt claim a single item. I even repeated some ML steps to get more ppl at higher ML. Organised ML1,ML6,ML7,ML9,ML9,M10 in last 2 weeks. except for 9.10 pants which were needed for my template, I rolled like anyone else. I didn't need to organise another ML9 raid but I did it just because i felt guilty I claimed 1 of the drops. so I organised 2 ML9 raids. Sunday 3 scoutdrops fell on ML10 raid. I rolled like anyone else. If I don't need it i'll roll. Because I will possibly claim the bow if it drops I'm organising again 2 extra ML10 raids.
