Well judging by this post, the numbers on this raid are going to be phenominal, so I ask for patience during the organisation and follow-through of the raid.

If anyone has belts/rubies/crowns/gems - please bring them to the raid and make yourself known to me - hand them over as soon as you arrive if possible. This way, they can be dished out to groups that need them fast.

It looks like the most efficient way of organising this will be to split groups - some groups camping 1.1, some searching and doing 1.2, other groups camping 1.4 and all moving on to 1.6 when belts and gems are available.

After this, /bg steps will be no problem.

Looking forward to seeing you at the raid.

Eggy I can bring a lvl 50 Pally or lvl 50 necro if you need them, though that will mean the toon I want to complete the ML will just be afk'd to me for most of the raid, effectively creating a dead spot in a group.

Think I have a spare crown and belt lying around somewhere, I'll bring them along.

I definitely have the belt in my vault and will move it onto Toomuch at some point before the raid.

Once my kids are in bed (and asleep) I'll be able to bring either a 50 Necro or 50 Mincer to assist for any stages that are left.

Thanks for organising Eggy, wasn't your fault I left 1.1 in a huff when the salli got aggro from the 3rd mob and we got wiped.
To all people who are thinking of bringing their bb's along please consider there might be others who arrange their time around an ML raid and would like to get it over with. 1/ Get a crafted potion PRIOR to an ML, don't complain during the raid that you lost stick/are oos, we lost a full hour tracking the 1.2 mob down because of that. 2/ Even bb's get base heals, if you are the only cleric in group you are encouraged to USE them, there's a reason the tank put a prot on you, it's not to make you feel more comfortable while being afk or ignorant (pick one). I called it quits after wasting 2.5 hours on 2 steps I could easily have soloed and wiping on 1.1 with an afk bb as the only healer.

Thanks to all involved.

Raid went well apart from the waiting around for 1.1 mistakes, AFKers etc.

Anyway, most got everything done.

A word of warning to anyone organising ML1 raids. Limit the numbers :p Check out how many were in my BG, divide that by 8 and organise those 8 to do 4 steps each in a rota :p

Thanks for a nicely run raid Eggy.

I'll be putting a post up for running 1.6 and 1.7 as a few didn't get it due to forgetting to rejoin Battlegroup after the mass ld (I forgot to get my wife's cleric to rejoin it)

Still can't work out what was happening on 1.1 as Sally broke charm part way through killing Sunkaio each time and seemed to fail miserably to damage Aithos

Great :)

Yeah sorry a few people missed out. Desmona pop is quite long and we had wasted enough time already. Apologies to those.

I will happily come along to help on any re-attempt :)

Special thanks to everyone who helped on Phoebus after, and to Snarks for extra help on 1.1 :)

Thanks for organising it Eggy :)
I gave up though, was stuck in the group from hell, with crap potions, no clue what to do, constantly whining what we are going to do, people on 56k modems...
Just not funny when those factors manage to combine into one group :)
Regards, Glottis

yep I was in this group. No one knew what to do, and I include myself in this. If you are going to send groups off on their own, they do need at least one person who can give nice clear instructions, instead of whinging, and being indecisive. The reason peeps kept asking what are we doing next, was because noone appeared to be taking charge. It was a nice idea top try and do ML on such a massive scale, but really need gl of each group to be faimilar with the ML, and confident to lead group if the Bg is not providing the instructions for steps. Thanks to the 2 peeps in my group who tried to give some direction, think we all knew it wasnt really working out :)

Aye, organising the number of people, to do almost the entirity of ML1, in the time it took, was nothing short of remarkable in my book. 4 hrs 35mins total for the entire raid (given that groups started out to the group encs at 6:45pm).

I had a fun time, because I was with a good humoured group of people, but also because the organisation was sound. Damn that lag spike though, GOA really need to get this server fixed.

Well done. :drink:

Just wanted to add a slightly belated thanks and grats to Oopsy for running a very good raid. Shame about some groups not working out but in all reality it was a MAMMOTH task from the outset.

I'd hope to be available for any repeat steps that need doing, but starting new job Monday so my availability will be much more restricted. Apologies in advance if I can't help out.
