ML Mania; ML2 & ML3 -> SCHEDULE UPDATED!

Due to having an extrame amount of bad luck, I'm doing one more ML2 raid, and one more 2.10 raid after ML3 on sunday.

We'll have to postpone one of the ML3 raids for it.

We have been struggling with 2.10 due to the high amount of interested people, therefore we will do 2.10 with 3fg max at a time. The encounter resets in 15 minutes, so we can do it twice easily. That way it'd be quite faster too. Scroll down for prerequisits

Here's the new schedule:

12/7 Monday: ML1: 12:00 - 14:00
13/7 Tuesday: ML2: 12:00 - 14:00
14/7 Wednesday: ML1: 21:00 - 23:00
15/7 Thursday: ML2: 21:00 - 23:00
16/7 Friday: Extra day for prequests & Life.
17/7 Saturday: ML2: 14:00 - 17:00
18/7 Sunday: ML3: 12:00 - 17:00

What needs to be done before attending the ML2 and ML3 raids:

ML3 Prequests:

Get a full group (the shaman has been killed with 4 people, but you probably want a full group) and go to 15k 58k Notos. You'll find a triton treasure hunter there, right before the zone in point (don't kill him, just talk to him, you'll need the group you brought with you to kill a shaman). To save time tell every to just /s kepa and /s antioos. This will save time and by having people not actually click on the treasure hunter you have a better chance of not having someone kill it. Talk to the treasure hunter and get both the Antioos and Kepa quest. You can't complete them until you are with the raid, but you can do one step - kill a triton shaman.

Find and kill a purple triton shaman. Get the necklace and be sure to bring it on the ML3 raid.
You need at least 3 people to kill a triton shaman, might want to bring a little more. They have been reported at these locs:

~35k 5k Meso Nov 18 - Jozi Rawr
5k 19k Meso Dec 21 - Avirez

This is one of the two trials with a sub quest. Talk to the Triton Treasure Hunter at the entrance of ToT. (Each and every person has to talk to the Triton Treasure Hunter individually.) For Kepa he will ask that you find a mob in Meso named Moughart. The only two locations I have ever found him at (and I’ve found him at one of these two every time) are 45k 21k Meso and 2k 21k Meso. Kill him first and ignore his adds, as they despawn when he dies and everyone in BG will get credit.

Moughart Sightings:

-2.6 21.4 Meso. Mourghart was found on the side of a rock and he looked alot like seaweed. Nov 11 - Thrennoadae
-4k 16k meso. He respawned there with his buddies twice after that also. Nov 9 - Seter
-37k, 49k Another Moughart spawn location we found tonight. Nov 24 - spydor
-44.5k 20.5k in mesothalassa Dec 16 - Aphexplotz

A group can do these in an afternoon easily if they stick to the info on VoS.

Adari didn't showed up and ppl started to organise raids for some steps or without advertising.

I lost my chance to get ML2 again -_-

i started feeling really bad in the afternoon and went to lie down for a while. ive not had much sleep this week at all and all this +work/life/friends is getting to me kinda. i dont think im gonna feel much better/be online tomorrow, basically ive been playing too much n ima take it easy and do summet else for a while, instead of listening/having to answer to 600 retards spamming questions in pm all day long about obvious things cos they expect me to do everything for them, etctetcetc

hence no more raids untill further notice, unless someone else decides to take over.

if i was to continue next week i would not keep it a "event" and just make seperate ML4-9 raids.

3 of the 5 raids i did int he past 6 days have had over 100-110 people of which 50% was just ignorant pricks taking the piss by not listening and moaning

I came to realise that all of the raids in the future will have the same active player/passive retard fool ratio, its not something i want to go through every weekend.

Adding 9 different guides, people who anser pm's or whatever you want to this will just make the chaos worse

Ive done some raids in the past with 100+ people, but nearly all of them cared at least, and it worked fine. Now, im having the feeling most of the newly pl'd toons expect to be able to just stick and get it over with, which is extremely, extremely tiresome to whoever is in charge.

I am sorry that a few spoilt it for the rest.
I understand what you mean i took one half of the ML2 group yesterday, problem was the other group by the time we had finished the steps inside were still fart arsing around as they wouldn't listen to what they were told.
In the end it meant some of us are just waiting for 2.10 because the others wouldn't listen or didn't know how to play there toons properly.
I will try and get a grp of peeps together for just the ML2.10 though. once i have my groups the BG will be locked.

Sadly, this is exactly the problem with Hib - and probably alb and mid too. No dig aimed at you ljimn, more a passive observation I've been keeping to myself since leading my own ML1 and ML2 raids. If the realm doesn't have a few brave fools to lead the thankless, whiney zerg through the raid, the raids don't get done. Look accross FH where ML raids are concerned and you'll see most of the post are people asking for raids, but are "too lazy" (an actual quote from one post) and simply don't want to take the effort to lead a raid themselves, preferring other people to do the hard work for them, babysitting them through it. And, heaven forbid anything go wrong for them and they bitch like noones business at the raid leaders..... those same considerate people who have gone to the expense of running this raid for them.

It's not just them that make it frustrating, although without those attitudes it may become bearable, if just. Another source is the "I only need x,y,z we should do them now" crowd that piss me off too. They need just the last step(s), so that should be what the raid does and f*** the rest of them.

All in all, it's gonna take a huge change in attitude for many former ffa raid leaders to do them again, else all we'll see is closed raids - and ofc the FH whine about the 'elitist guilds' doing closed raids. I wonder?

I know its hard aloca.. and i know that some of the n00bs to hib think cos they sat at fins they can sit though thier mls too.. its sad.. but remember m8 most of em dont know what taunt is... I completely agree with Adari. Ffs he's done his part in the realm. During the week and without actually posting any dates I'll just run some ML2 steps (2.10 included) to get the ML over and done. I'll just advertise once in /as (cbh) and as soon as 2 fgs gather up we continue. AFK ppl will be immediately kicked from bg

Can you arrange for someone to also advertise, just once, for you in the CF alliance ? Although I've done mine I know some people in the CF alliance who still need as well and it would be a shame to miss out just because of no cross alliance chatter
