Mixer software...

Right, as i cant use the soundcard software (wont open in win7 for some reason, tho the sound plays fine) i was wondering if anyone knows of a preferably free (not limited trial) that works.

i dont wany any extra shit like record music or other stuff, i just want a plain mixer that i can alter bass, treble etc etc etc

tried google but cant specify it correctly :/

mixers dont change bass and treble. equalisers do that. do you want a mixer or an eq? or both?
