You gotta remember it's nothing to do with what they look like or how they act, it's all political and whatever country can boost ratings/income for the next event.

Could be an African winner because of the disasters in Nigeria before.
Could be a country from middle-east somewhere after all the wars.
Probably Miss China though.

I think there is but it's (understandably) not so well publicised (ie, no-one cares).
In the article they mention one of the judges..

Current Mr World, Brazilian Gustavo Gianetti, will also help judge the merits of the 106 contestants... <blah blah>... the fourth holder of the Mr World title.

Being only the fourth Mr World I would guess it's only a fairly recently organised contest and hence not many people realise it exists.
