Minor Win 2K issues....

I'm running Win 2k Pro and for some reason WinonCD v3.6 wont recognise my Plextor CD-RW. I need either an update or a replacement.

Also I cant get my Agfa Snapscan 310 (parallel port) scanner to work either. The LTP port is working coz my Epson printer runs fine. Does anyone know of a Win2k driver/patch to get the bugger to work?

you could try a firmware update for the plextor there Staz. can't help you with the scanner tho

It might be worth putting your LPT port in legacy plug and play mode:

Right click My computer, Hardware Tab, Device Manager, expand ports, right click printer port and check box 'Enable legacy Plug and Play detection'.

'Cause do detect a parallel Zip drive with printer bypass on Windows 2000, this legacy check box has to be enabled - thought it might be the same for Staz's scanner - just a thought.

it could be your version of winoncd
I had the same problem with my drive when 2k first came out
