I just microwaved myself a ready meal from a 'large supermarket chain' and when I opened it to give it a stir I found a sort of inch-long blob of orange jellyish stuff. I thought maybe it was a large blob of fat or gristle but it happily survived 9 minutes at full power.

Needless to say I left all well alone and it's now sat in my kitchen giving me teh fear !

wtf could it be ?

Should I complain ? Who to ?

I'm tempted to use the puke smiley...

I know what you mean, I bought 5 bags of Sugarsnap Peas from Tesco and they were all bloody picked too early. They're hard as nails.

They're going back tomorrow.

Take it back to the supermarket you bought it from and they'll give you your money back. Complain to the company that made the meal and they'll probably send you vouchers in excess of the price of the meal. Up to you. Microwave meals are meant to be made of belly button fluff, cartilidge, and mucus though - they just dye the appropriate ingrediant of the three whatever colour the food is meant to be, and then cover it in clingfilm.

Learn how to cook! It's better for you, and doesn't cause teh fear! Unless your really bad, then you might create the fear instead!

My dad got banned from our local Tesco.

He used to buy me those party ring biscuits and twice in a row they were all smashed so on the second packet of biscuits he went in and kicked off at customer services, they then got security and told him to never return.

I miss my dad :(

perhaps you've merely mistakenly purchased Tesco's new range of microwaveable jungle food, with widgety grubs, kangaroo bollocks and croc cocks.

Nah the problem is clear to me. The power supply on his microwave is definately not up to scratch.

looks like a lump of congealed fat and additives to me mate...stear clear, pop it in a pot and send it back to manufacturer of said meal with a letter explaining how disappointed you were and how sick it made you feel....then wait for a grovelling letter back with coupons to keep you in supply of similar meals for at least a week. I did it with bassetts when I got a sherbet lemon that had no sherbet in it and received a months supply of sherbet lemons in return - considering I was in baording school at the time it was brilliant!

Insert it into your anus as you would with regular food. Tell us the results: we want to know if you poo it out your mouth!

whats wrong with their food exactly?

i buy all my raw ingredients from there (oats, eggs, meat etc) and i only have 1 issue.
their healthy living chicken breasts are all huge inside the bag. sometimes there is only 4 making up the 1kg!

though if youre eating highly processed shit like microwaved pasta, you deserve everything you get!

I LIKE READY MEALS!
I LIKE MICROWAVED SUPER NOODLES!
I LIKE POT NOODLES!!!

Ahem, now thats over with, what is wrong with you bunch of girls, get it down ya! It'll put hairs on your chest! probably on your tongue too! You've no doubt had alot worse from the local kebab shop whilst you've been steaming, so I wouldnt really worry about it.

Having UFO's in my dinner just makes it more exciting! Especially if they're still moving! :D

Unfortunately, a lot of people have to due to the price of raw ingredients. I wouldn't say they deserve that gunk. :)

the price is a lot cheaper for raw ingredients.

whats a micorwaved pasta shit cost? about £2 or so?

500g pasta = 59p
sauce = £1
500g chicken = £2.50

you can make the same thing about 3-4 times for less money.

Are you sure you didn't sneeze prior to putting the thing in the microwave ?

I still have a roll of Tesco's white bin bags that don't fit my bin because they are a good 20cm shorter than specified on the packaging, but I can't be arsed to trot down there with a tape measure and get a replacement.
