that is a common misconseption.

In DAoC you are pwnd if you:

a) are outnumbered 10 to 1 and die miserably, laughspam afterwards is obligatory.
b) walk on a dotmine right infront of a FG of warlocks and get smoked so hard you just log for the evening.
c) meet some twat using every single tool he has available, and just when you are about to finish him off, you suddenly get pwnd by a radaring FG. Ruding is deffo a must here, otherwise its just ganking.
d) you get caught afk, and ofc get pwnd.
e) you get a one on one, and fail to kill, due to your GF giving you a bj at the same time, its pretty distracting tbh..
f) you just suck at yer toon, and cant kill anything, and die vs a lvl45.

or.. something like that..

Assassinfights are quite tricky, since so much depends on luck these days SoM, GoV, Heatproccs, maliceproccs, ablaproccs, who has purge up or not etc etc etc..
