I mean, if you think about it, what are you asking for?

Pet must see target

Player must see target

Player must see pet

That means in order to attack someone, you would have to position the pet in a place where it can see the target, you would then have to manuver yourself into position to where you could see both the target and the pet.

I can't think of any situation in which you could do that safely without being nuked/knocked to hell and back before you were done.

He's not asking for anything, this is the way its going to be.

LINE OF SIGHT FIXES

- Necromancers now must be visible to their controlled creatures to perform "pet cast" spells. This fixes the exploit where Necromancers could park their pets in keep towers and wander around outside, and have their pets cast at the Necromancer's target.

- Pets of classes such as the Enchanter, Animist, and Bonedancer (and any other class that can cast offensive spells) will not be able to cast spells on a target unless that target is visible to the pet. We expect this fix to take care of the LOS issues for Enchanter-type pets most of the time, but players still may run into situations where the spells are cast even though the pet cannot "see" its target. We will continue to work on this problem as needed.

Healer is just a tad over powered with all its forms of cc and remember alb dont have any form of insta cc on its main to mezzers bar a stun shout on the minstrels.

thats slightly overpowered for me but thats my opion and thats why i roled one on prydwen so go figure.

You wanna try being a healer and killing something then, oh, "you hit XXXX for 20 damage with your toffee hammer" - scarey eh! repeat 100 times to make a kill! LOL

With all the uber resists and SC'd armour and range of purges the 3 realms got now, both RA and spells, mezz means little, and theres also a lot of assholes in our own realms willing to use AE spells randomly (add here its no longer Thanes - Shaman do it a lot worse!).

Before RAs and SCing came about I would have agreed with you, but not any more. This thread (and others like it) are more about the chars that have had bug abuse, something us mids always miss out on. You lot have had it too easy!

As i mentioned in another thread, mid had the bug where healers insta mez wasn't on the same immunity timer as the castable and the same for the stuns meaning that they could if timed right chain mez/stun people after the patch that was supposed to stop the chaining of cc spells (by the introduction of the immunity timers). So mid did have a bug which the majority of healers took advantage of...so shhhhh. :p

Geez, look its simple. A healer has no form of offense at all... well thats a lie he can ender combat made and swing his little hammer dealing some 1337 d4m4g3!!!!

to give an example, against Rocots (Green/blue con to a 50, weak to crush damage) i can expect to hit for between 90-150 damage per swing with my 2h (98% qual, 16.5dps) Arc hammer.

Ok, thats why we have the whole ub3r CC thing going for us.

As for you being mezzed/stunned 50% of the time, i suggest you... umm, deal with it?

Clerics cant do any dmg either. And yes i know i what its like being a healer its bad that you cant kill yellow con mobs but really are you meant to ?
