Mids morning raiding

Silly mids freakin raided us like 7am in the morning stupid mids! whine forever about albs raiding them 7am in the morning, and not a month later they do EXACTLY the same, oh well, double morale can be fun, can't it

errr... that was 8AM CET when we was supposed to start... I arrived half hour too late (/blaming Derric!) and we still had to wait for more then half an hour... we got lift off (from DC) at 10AM, first took Crim and Scathaig or so... died on the uberguards at RK, took the other keeps as well and stormed the front...

If we had taken our rams at sanctum quicker, we would now had all Hib relics :s

So stop saying 7AM when it is 10 AM... which is a fine and normal hour more or less

ffs when we try to do a RR in "prime time" albs and hibs are whining that we have to do RR in morning time cuz that the only was it could work!
then mids try to do it this early and ppl are still whining that we do EXACTLY the same??

8 am cet ie. 7am gmt, it is english servers after all, and that's damned early on a saturday, and not 2 seconds later than albion raided you. Not like albs didn't first get to your relic keep at 10 am.

Candy no one asked you to do a morning relic raid, but mids whined forever when albs did sunday morning raid, and not 1 month later they do morning raid themselves. LOL.

Call it what you want, 10 am is a morning raid. So stop being so double moralic (sp?) saying it's bs albs relic raid 10am in weekends when you not even a month later do the same. thank you. </whine>

just looked quick at statistics, average of about 350 players saturday 9am cet - 10am gmt

yea, or not lol. totally normal for prydwen to have a population of 300 players. 9am cet is morning, especially in the weekend it's worktime on a normal day.

Most of the players on Mid/Pryd are on CET. So regardless of whether the LANGUAGE of the server is english, french or fucking martian, the PLAYERS are in the main on CET.

Not that the above matters sweet fuck all, as it is meant to be a war that you are playing in this ROLEPLAYING game.

This patch, relic raids have been made infinitely harder than before. You have noticed the fact that normal keep guards are so very uber in comparison to pre 1.54 guards right?

This is also true of relic keep guards. It isn't possible to take a keep primetime without a HUGE zerg (which we all hate). The way of relic raids now is either to zerg the keep, or do a stealth raid.

Ofcourse, you with your silly self had to come on the boards and make an ass out of yourself making comparisons between relic raids and arguments that occurred PRE 1.54. I think it is universally accepted in Prydwen now that relic raids will ALWAYS be stealth raids or zerg raids. We just don't have the numbers for the zerg raids so guess what that leaves.

Edlina, you ever been on a prime time raid?, oh, your saying no?, good, because then you got absolutely no idea how hard it is. You will have to deal with jerks like Elles doing it primetime, or Meatballs, although he is flamed enough for those actions.
Hibernia have done 1 prime time raid iirc, and well, they succeeded, but everything else coming from hib side have been early sunday morning raids, about the same time.
Personally i dont like raids where you have to set your alarm clock to go to a raid. In my entire daoc career i wont ever defend before 12 cet because i wont be up and i will never attack a relic at that time either, because i will wont be up.

This game is about fun, and if you think its fun to set your alarmclock to play a game, then thats what you do. If you are proud or not after, is really up to you.
Ive been on almost every mid relic raid so far, not this one though, and accomplishing a primetime relic raid is great, and you look back at all the "early morning raid" threads and smile, because you know you havent been part of that, and still did it.

And _why_ are you whining yourself, you who have made morning raids in the past and whined before as well?

Well, i haven´t logged on today yet, so don´t know the story, but according to this thread, Mids raided Hibbies this morning but didn´t take any relics?

Yes, Edlina has done a prime time relic raid, and so have the most of us, as we also have done early morning relic raids. perhaps it´s lame, perhaps it´s a question of lacking the balls, but perhaps, it´s just using your brain..Why would you attack the enemy when they´re at full strength when you can attack them when theyé asleep?

Damn good to see some of you guys and gals being prepared to get up and attack when you have the most realistic chance of success. Sure we would all love prime-time raids but the game engine and servers just can't handle 500 people in one zone and the damn thing just dies, everyone ends up pissed off that way and they lose faith. At least if the relics change hands in off peak hours it keeps people interested and you get the same chance to steal them when you launch your own off-peak raid. Prime-time full blown raids just won't and can't work anymore, at least until we get server upgrades and the new 3d engine in Shrouded Isles

Besides why would they try a prime time RR?
It's not their fault Mythic screwed this game up making it impossible to take relics with more than 5 defenders
