But to be serious; I've played a warden to lvl 41 and NEVER have i hear someone say "leave him he's a mid" in any skirmish. In a big batte where keeps and maybe even relics r at stake, sure u use the actions of the other realms for ur own advantage. If u had both mid relics (wich u have now ) we would be in a very bad position, and therefore it would be wise of us to, if not directly help defend, then maybe cut off ur supply of fresh blood. Best done by camping ur wall or TK in midgaard...
Im sure even a tincan can see the tactics and sanity in that, we r not, and will never, form cross realm alliances but sure we will support any realm if it helps our own realm in the end.

there is nothing wrong with cross-realm alliances, especially on unbalanced servers, as mythic have stated. i will be just as happy to kill a middie as the next hib, but if theres a choice between attacking albs and attaking mids atm ill go for albs, simply because theres more of them atm

If starting a Relic Raid at 22:30 UK time is the dead of night then clearly we're guilty

The FACT that there were 200+ middies on the server when we went back for the 2nd Relic with a force of 70-80 shows there were enough Middies on to defend it but for whatever reason they chose not 2.

If an Alb or Hibbie relic was taken at whatever time there is no way only about 15 people would turn up at the remaining Relic/Relics to defend it.

When our 1st one went 150+ Albs tried to intercept it /guard our remaining one.

If/when we ever get a hibbie one unopposed (cause no one is paying attention to the Relic Keeps) I would be pretty much 100% certain that there would be a sizeable force defending the remaining Relic, whatever the time, just incase there was an attempt to take it.

C0ngo, Winter, as much as a cross-realm alliance would be good for hib and mid, imo it will never work because of 2 many ppl to *proud* or *idiotic*, depending on the way you look at it (dont flame plz), to realise that alliances are nessacary sometimes until forces balance out. Its all well and good saying bad words on here, but when you get stormed by the alb hoards repeatedly its a bit of a different matter

don't worry you don't HAVE to agree with the Alb... since I'm not talking about the start of the raid at 22.30 GMT, but the time the relic was taken which was 03.00 CET (the time zone most ppl in Midgard use)

Congo is forgetting that there is some time between assembling of troops, which should happen at about 8 GMT, and invading enemy territory and taking their relics which should be at about 10 GMT.. just my personal preferences of course... but people agree with me that after 1 o'clock things should be kept as they are.
In any case, 3 o'clock in the morning is not a nice time for a raid, and if it's that what makes the Albs strong then I'm glad I'm not part of them...

just a little reminder there, ...we might have 200+ ppl online at that time but no way we have 200+ lvl 30-40+ ...see?

but anyways...you have the numbers on at that time to attack at that time of evening/night, we dont
and we would indeed have attacked nightly if we had the numbers online as well i guess

its sad but true, albs havent done anything wrong (oh well, except from owning 2 mid relics )

But all these 200+ had to do was defend your relic keep against 70-80 Albion invaders not to organise an attack on ours.

Don't blame our numbers/lvls/organisation/time of attack but look closer to home at the members of your realm that chose to do nothing.

and sure, we could bring middies that are weaker then the mobs around grallar to defend, would help a fecking lot eh?

and maybe we should bring the ones who cant open the border keep doors as well?

and you know perfectly well you would rather want your lvl 30-50's defending your relic keep then 100 lvl 10-20's

not a flame just stating facts and i think its sad all the mid high lvls arent online at that time

Allying with Mids is just not thinkable for me, but when faced with a Mid or an Alb, I will go for the Alb every time. No question. I have listened to their whining on the official forums when they were open and now on here and I have witnessed their mass of numbers on the battlefield. I generally see a lot more /laughs at me when I'm dead from the Albs. The gloating from them on the boards is pathetic. They have succseded in making themselves look like pre-pubesant fools in everything they do. I feel sorry for the honourable ones in Albion as they have now been tarred with the same brush as the majority.

And on the topic of realm alliances, there was 2 Albs and 2 Mids camping Cruachon gorge the other day, working as a team. So Albs, quit accusing ppl of things that your realm mates seem quite content to do.

hehe, the albs dont dare to take hib relic keeps atm, coz they know that they will have 2 pissed of realms, and they know that we know, that they outnumber us. (they are also well organized tho, finally), but they still do not wanna face an alliance between mid and hib, coz they know its gonna take more than they got.
I agree with whinter tho, rather have 2 allied realms than 1 dominating it all, more fun that way for every1 imo.
Mids havent given up on taking on albs in organized RvR nor emain scirmish..

Maybe we will tho, Im tired of "dont go to blabla" - "why not?" - "albs..." - "many?" - "hordes" :-/


Maybe hibs can put up a better fight tho, they lack the lvls, also the numbers I think, but they stick together rather nicely
My best RvR experience stands from last thursday or friday, we were 5 ppl out rvr'ing after we were done with the lvling for the day, chased a green dude towards the grogans near DC, killed a few there, some more, chased 2 guys and killed them, went back, got assaulted by a never-ending line of hibs (mostly con grey-green-blue).. It was the longest fight I've ever had in rvr scirmish.. It felt like 10 mins but I think we only lasted for like 2-3 mins.. we took down like 25-30 hibs tho. It was fun

I play in a guild and have a level 28 runemaster that I was playing at the time and not once did I see any warnning from the higher levels. The only reason Midgard did not defend was due to a lack of communication. And when Albion out numbers Midgard by 3:1 its going to be a tough battle to get them back.

As for a alliance I hold this statement to be true. " The enemy of of my enemy is my friend. " It don't mean we going to go off and get married, just that we are going to try and set the balance straight.

I vote a Midgard and Hibernia Alliance to kick Albion back to the stone age.
