I think you misunderstood the point Papa, he's trying to form a Smurf-like guild and asking opinions on race and class. All should be the same for a more humorous effect.

Personally I'd go for bald kobold warriors. If only because the other two realms seem to have gone for the main taks as well (and the fact nukes might actually make it too strong). Guild name? How about Real Smurf Army as kobolds are the only true smurfs?

We're just safety in numbers. We made tanks coz Inconnu look funny with big sticks, and when I'm riding a horse with me pole hammer - I look like I'm about to play Polo lol

I'm sure there are other such humerous iddy biddy groups of people - well, they don't even need to be iddy biddy - just all the same class / race / colour for effect.

actually, an inconnu armsman did the highest avarage damage ive ever been hit for yesterday, with thrust/slash spear, and i got 13% resistance in both

I've been thinking about this some more, and it seemed it would be best if we could make it fit with any famous cartoon/movie/game creature, just like the smurfs and lemmings.

Cant go far with the trolls, maybe they could be some kind of dinos but I dont know any good example for that, the norses are out because they are just too human, forget the kobolds because they are too smurflike anyway, cant take dwarves too because it only leads us to other movie or cartoondwarves, and no frostalfs either because they are... well, just blue humanoids, nothing speciale there either.


But what with the valkyns ? real typical midgard race, and they could fit with something that is just as common history for us like the smurfs and the lemmings.. I'm talking about starwars here, especially the recent episode 3


What about a valkyn wookie army !!! ??


Ok, the catlike image of the valkyns doesnt 100% fit the bearshape of the wookies, but surely it is good enough ? At least they are both pretty hairy ! And if we make them berserkers then we can have vendo mode wich is a bit more wookie then anything else in daoc. Wookies didnt have much clothes either, and berserks in vendomode are almost naked too.

I dont know what weapons would fit , but a shield and a brown sword/axe wouldnt be that bad. Or we can make them hunters to give them a spear, that would also be close to the forest creature the wookie is.

Armor, I think the top bit should be the color of the skin, with only pants visible in something light brown. The wookies in the starwars history only seem to wear belts and weapons, so that might need a bit of tweaking too.

Names cant be hard too, just make some scandinavian variants of chewbacca and the like. And "wookie army" as guild name.

But besides all that it sounds pretty good to me. Cant think of another theme that would reach the levels of smurfs and lemmings good enough, both in originality , humour and the way we use our daoc chars to make something new and fun.
