I remember fondly the mighty Midgard, the warrior hordes, the 3 way battles. I want them again!

Albs have slowly learned the hard way off Hibs, we stick together, we fight we dont run (as often) and some of us even know how to RvR now!!1

You need to raise your game if your gonna compete in this arena.

Imo the game lost bit of it`s beauty when some of the RAs came into play. But mostly because Emain is more about zerg now. But I`ll bring my free-frag ass out there as soon as we get the others to 50 again.

Oh, yes, some were trolls, and we all know how good they are. HATE caps...

oo im glad im not the only one that thinks ra's ruin things...maybe the passive skills are acceptable, but i think all this ignore pain/first aid is too much...and it pretty much throws mending specs back in peoples faces

and as for spellcrafting...sigh, id prefer us and the enemies to have no spellcrafting, things are starting to look like its the people you know and the size of your gold stash that determines how good you are

Yeah sure, RA's have altered the rvr style a whole bit. But its still fun imo.

And for spellcrafting, its not really that über compared to epic armor, if you sort your other equipment out so that it makes a good combination to your epic with resists/stats/skill bonuses the difference wouldnt be that big i think....

Some RAs are bad, but then again, some are pretty good.

I mean, MCL is pretty nice eh? and what about all those passives? Dodger? Mastery of pain? Lifter? all the Aug 'xxx' that raise your stats?

It's the big ones I don't like, IP, purge, Group purge, etc.

But I was very impressed with the work the albs did this morning, had to have gotten 7k or so without dying in 30 minutes(and considerring we had 2fg, that's not bad). Either Spell crafting has saved us from the wrath of midgard and hibernia, or we're actually learning how to rvr

I've run with 2fg's at most in the last few weeks, that's my experience.

ah ok, that explains it.. well let me tell you a tale, of a great golf course.. no name was worthy of it's magnificense... then the hibs moved in and called it Emain. The mids moved in shortly after that and ran across emain with around 3-5fgs daily. Albs would do the same.. but would always split apart or die once and give up.

Mids have always zerged with 3+fg
Albs have always zerged with 3+ fg
Hibs have always used 'tactics' with 4fg+

Play rvr a bit more, SCing and Alchemy won't be saught after as much then, you'll see the real zergs come back

hmm if this game is going to be totally equal on all sides then everybody should have:¨

two accounts containing:
One buffbot lvl fifty, for camping the TKs and buffing groups
one spellcrafterbot 1000+,
one alchemistbot 1000+
one weaponcrafter
one armorcrafter
at least one lvl 50
and one 47+ to go lair and farm endless money

not to forget:
IP + all the other active RA's

then we could start playing ppl

konah what a load of crap. We need to sort it out cause we dont constantly zerg emain? The only time mid usually loses is cause we dont have the numbers, alot of mids like to protect the frontier.
Albs are as n00bish as ever, yesterday morning in emain when the best rvr battles usually happens we threw together a group with what we had, we had no pbt'er or nuker and still kicked the crap out of all the alb groups we came across (2 sometimes) and hibs. Got about 10k in 20 minutes.
Albs, learn how to rvr you are pathetic in group vs group situations, its too easy.
Pretty funny aswell fighting albs in big numbers, when im mezzed and theres a rm nuking next to me, some gryphon n00b breaks mez on me and starts hitting me, i insta mez him and go attack some avalonian without being stunned.

some nice battles, some *cough* lame *cough* aoe stun/pbaoe but hey, just nice to see u all having fun again instead of sitting in svasud waiting for a keep guard to die. been so long since albs fought mids we gotta learn how to handle u guys. a fresh challenge.

...and no hibs, bliss. i guess ur aoe stun scared thier casters, hows it feel hibbys?

oh and optical: ask NP about the battle on stone-valley hill the other day

I was talking about the average alb group, not all alb groups.
Like FC, not saying they are great or anything but they are alot more difficult to kill than some group of unorganised albs.

Gotta agree, last night was great for midgard, who emain resulted in about 70 matches, cant say i like zergs but its better than being stuck between our tk and mmg.
btw, thank BC for the pbaoe + aoe stun they had 2 groups running around with about 5 sm's all together. Nice to see guilds like BC back strong, means mids stand more of a chance against the zerg.

The absolute biggest non-relic raid zerg I've EVER seen from alb was 6fg, and that was extremely short lived, think it was to take Amg and Mmg.

Ever tried RvRing outside of emain? I suspect little if never.

Think a lot of Mids are mighty bored with the constant zerg-> run too mile gate -> die -> rel -> port back -> repeat all day kinda thing.

RvR aint all this games about, but for a lot of ppl these days more fun can be had in the lesser populated frontiers, like sausage, hadrians and jamtland.

Theres little tactics in use in emain, besides "oh look theres a XXXie, 2fg got that way 2fg come with me and well gank him". Not really top knotch strategical stuff, I dont think sadam would be fooled by it. Or the other one is "look, theres 4fg mids and 4fg albs, wait till they kicked the crap out of each other then well kick all their arses when their healers are oom etc etc", again not really a strain on the grey matter.

Must admit its been nice lately to see 1-3fgs of enemies in the Mid frontiers, nice fair cat and mouse fights, except whe u go into dodens for a mass exp killing spree, not funny , but in general more tactics are in use here, and a lot more fun had IMO.

that's why I said non-relic raid (I meant relic raid related, sorry, should've been more specific)

and whoodoo, I solo a ton in odins/jamt/uppland, that's where I go when I'm sick of the emain zergs. Much more fun imo . Never go to hadrians though, never gonna be a soloer out there (though I do, on occasion, hunt SBs right outside sauvage.. they've been in traveling in packs as of late though)
