Midgard is rising

I would like to thank everyone that attended at yesterdays raids in alb land.

I must say I didnt think we would get half as many as we got in the BG even though everyone was not with the zerg. Highest count in bg was 88ppl and highest count at berk was 60-66.

Yesterdays raid was primaly for getting mids out in RvR and get a feeling on the offensive part rather then having to defend constantly.

I think alot of ppl including myself learned alot from yesterday in how mid must work to get this going.

Unfortunatly we had problems with the ram on the inner door but the reason for that was found and hopefully we will not have it again (that is on me or the raidleader to make sure).

We also saw what we lack of in Midgard atm. That is BDs, supp sms and Thanes. Atleast we lack active ones.

I am currently working on the next realm wide raid and will notice alliances all over Midgard as soon as possible.

I would also like a couple of ppl that feel that they have alot of ingame time and willing to lead ppl on different raids (let it be PvE or RvR) pm me so that we can get things rolling on our realm again.

As we all know alot of ppl is leaving because they cant get MLs done, they cant get artis and scrolls and they dont feel they have the char needed to do keep warfare BUT remember we need ppl with alot of hp right up there in the front bashing on doors etc.

Once again thank you all for attending at this raid and for keeping the spirit up. was long time ago I saw mids wanting to go back over and over again even though we got instantly killed some times.

Combine Static Tempest D 5 10 15 - - AoE Attack - Procs 3s Stun every 5s with TWF and supp sms and u get the picture

From the start I was not even the one that was suppossed to lead. I heard about this from Werewulf that fedaykin + alliance was suppossed to do a raid and I told him I would get my alliance in it also. Then during the afternoon yesterday Werewulf PMed me and said he couldnt so I took over.

Next time I will make sure that every alliance are in on what is happening in their own realm.

was fun yesterday and the day before... liked seeing albion burn and as a convoker and one who is standing behind repairing ( for hours) ... I know its petty.. but ...my heart sings when I see surs keep

And cant say mid spirit is dead when I think of the sheer willpower, blood, sweet and tears from those of us who worked on surs the night/ mornig before and on the rvr night/morning.

Not the most opted groups but made up for it in enthusiasm..
Sure we didnt make it ... but we damn well tried ... and tried.
And picked up the odd rp's and knowhow as well on the way... besides a couple of good laughs

Had to logg around 5ish and would love to know what happend after...

What was the reason then? Being warlord, I try to control rams in RvR because it shortens arm/aim/fire time by 30%, and if I know how to prevent rams from bugging that would be a good help in future RvR

I don't know what I did wrong, but I'd like to know if possible

The reason is that we tried to take the RAM we used on outter door on inner door. Somehow it bugs or something because you couldnt reaim the ram to the inner door and use it. As soon as we moved the ram back to outer door and put it there instead it started working again

Well the biggest reason there are so few active thanes, is due to the last 2 years of really low groupability. And the fact thanes are still the biggest gimps in the game. Only a good player can achive anything with a thane. And there never was alot of good thanes out there either.

Whatever, looking at the relic situation, it would appear the all of Midgard needs them.

So, good job, Grymligast. Wasn't online, but might well be the next time.

On the ram front... thought i point you to bit of advice.

DONT use war rams on inner door. Due to their size the front actually goes past the door and as such you get the "ram not in view" message. Need to use smaller rams for now till the fix comes in 1.71. It may not be as effective as a war ram, but it better then having no ram on door at all.
