Ok. After watching the news for the last few weeks I can say that the sympathy I did have for the Israelis has now completely gone.
From all the reports it seems that the Israelis have gone one step to far in Jenin killing hundreds and destroying the place, with their offensive against the 'Palestinian terrorists'.
I now think that its time that the world stop being afraid of dealing with Israel because they have now gone out of control.
Colin Powel’s visit did squat, and the Americans don’t seem to realise that it’s their own weapons being used against the civilian population. Yes I know that the Jewish lobby in America is powerful, but maybe bush should do a Thatcherism style restructuring. Or the UN, which is meant to deal with problems like these, should assert its power and send a force over there to try to mediate between the two.
This continuing action is also threatening the economies of the west. With Arab states getting more and more angry.
Also with most European countries having a substantial Arab population. It seems folly to let this continuing crisis go one. Its obvious that’s the Israelis and Palestinians are incapable of sorting out their problems with each other. They should now, I’m afraid to say, Be forced to live with each other.
right thats my two cents,
